Hi here's another thread.

3 weeks on 2.5 mg and lost 5lbs

Taken 4th dose plus bonus dose so gone up to 5mg early so hoping to pick the pace up now.

When you do the bonus dose do you just inject with the same needle or twist it as it's in your skin?

I don't think I'll be getting the bonus dose out but really curious about this

I'm wondering the same thing. I'm due my next dose tomorrow and I want to split the bonus dose up over my next 2 jabs and do 3.75ml but I'm worried about not being able to get the bonus dose out and being left short for my last jab of the pen.

Please someone explain how to do the 'hard twist' 😂

Did my 3rd dose yesterday and weigh in. I put on 1lb over my holiday which isn't bad, but my total weight loss so far in comparison isn't as impressive as others

Just had a reminder from zava to reorder and can't decide whether to stay on 2.5 for another month or up to 5.

Planning to try and get the extra dose out and have a 5th week on 2.5 (or whatever the extra dose is).

@TinaTotal I'd seen a video shared on one of the Continuing MJ threads, can't remember which thread but could try a YouTube search. It looked easy to do a hard twist in the video

Well I’m at the end of week 2 and have gone from 15st 12lb to 14st 13lb.
I’m delighted with that! I do anticipate a huge slow down now though.

Doing jab 3 tonight but like many others am thinking of leaving Voy due to price and issues highlighted by other posters.

Just a quick question - is it better to have my main meal at lunch time rather than in the evening? I guess I'm just a bit concerned about food staying in my stomach longer overnight 🤔..

Bolt pen has arrived, really impressed by them - 48 hours from consultation to delivery, bang on 24 from shipping to delivery.

Still no word from voy about returning the pen and a refund. Have sent them a stroppy email as I am now being hounded to rejoin them - even though they've told me I can't!

I want to know this too - can I do bonus dose at the same time as the 4th jab?

Morning all, Thanks for the new thread @DinnaeFashYersel . I just posted in the other thread- fills it up a bit!
I did my third 2.5mg jab yesterday and was hungry all day. I ate mostly healthy options but in the evening, OH bought McD for him and DD. I declined but then found the share box of selects and nuggets so had 3 selects and two nuggets.. Not ideal nutritionally but way better than the usual stuff I’d eat. And I was really full after it so I think I needed a higher calorie meal than fish/chicken with salad. I was worrying the MJ wasn’t working any more but I feel like it is this morning.
Im going to order 5mg this week but might stay lower than that. Fully intending on using the bonus dose too. I’ve bought spare needles for the hard twist but also some syringes in case I can’t do it. I used to work in pharmaceutical manufacturing so quite happy using a syringe to draw out from a vial. I’m tempted to do this anyway just to see exactly how much is left. I feel an experiment coming on!

It would be in your stomach overnight normally though? I haven't changed my meal times and it's been fine :)

Personally I prefer to have a bigger meal at lunchtime and something smaller later because I hate the feeling of going to bed too full!

Still not feeling great after the French toast and bacon incident yesterday. Couldn't face anything to eat after that yesterday. Have just made myself eat breakfast but couldn't finish my cup of tea. I'm on week 3 and before this I was wanting to up to 5 as week 2 I didn't really feel like it was working. Now I'm nervous about 5mg!

@CremeDeSudo it's early days but I'm really impressed so far!

From what I can see, you don't have to go up straight away, if you feel happy on 2.5 you can stay there etc, got way more information than I did with voy and the ice pack it came in was still fully frozen!

I've sent them a long email asking for a refund and if I don't hear anything by next weekend I'll be on Twitter

Pharmacy2U have been great. Very quick service, and sent me £30 off my second pen.

Voy aren't covering themselves in glory here.

Two and a half weeks in, lost 8 lbs. Still finding out what food and in what volume I can eat without feeling awful!

This month I withdrew the needle after injecting dose 4. Wound it on and then did the bonus dose with the same needle.

This is because I wanted to go up to 5mg early.

Next month I intend to do the bonus dose a week later (with a new needle) so that I get 5 doses out of one pen.

This stuff is so expensive I don't want to not use the extra 20% in it.

I do have quite a sensitive stomach, so feeling/being sick actually scares me more than the injection... hopefully it won't be too much trial and error finding out which foods and at what times suits me best...😁

I was worried about this. Read other people using pliers etc but it was easy. It was just a hard twist. I need not have worried.

Weigh in today after two weeks on 2.5mg

SW before low carb for a month: 20'12". (BMI: 41.9)
SW on MJ: 19'12.5". (BMI 39.9)
Week 1: -4 pounds
Week 2: -4.5 pounds. (BMI 38.7)

Total lost after 2 weeks on MJ: 8.5 pounds

Side effects: nasty constipation. Fatigue. Headache.

When you do the hard twist, do you get it to go back to showing 1 in the window?
