@Wingingit11 thank you. I know you're right. I didn't even expect to have a big loss this week. But with having been able to eat so little, I thought it might have been more. Seems like a lot of torture for little reward 🤣 fingers crossed for a better week this week. I'm aiming for more fibre. How are you getting on?

Wingingit11 · 19/08/2024 08:39

@TinaTotal i am 6-8 lb down depending on when I take it from! My clothes definitely fit better now which is a happy place and I know basically
i I would be sitting at same weight or more if I’d not done this !

TinaTotal · 19/08/2024 08:43

@Wingingit11 that's really great, I know what you mean about clothes fitting better.. I love that I can get my watch on a notch further. Small wins 😂

I had a right palava!!!

I ordered with them about 10 days ago. Used my first dose on Monday and on Thursday had my coaching call.

After my call my coach basically decided I had binge eating tendencies and my "subscription" would be cancelled.

I found this out by getting an email saying I was missing out on their amazing programme, no personalised email. I was told to return it for a refund. Messaged to ask for a returns box and to say I wasn't happy and I got a message from my coach basically saying I had to accept it. Messaged again to ask for a returns pack and nothing.

This morning I got an email basically telling me I could still rejoin and get all their amazing benefits, so I have emailed the customer service to demand a full refund and that they stop messaging me.

They have also suggested I pay for their CBT service and then see if I qualify for the Mounjaro after that. They've basically given me a taste of it, and then taken it away while asking for more money from me.

In the meantime I ordered from bolt on friday, it was approved yesterday morning and arrived this morning, the ice pack was still fully frozen. Only slight grumble is they didn't send me any alcohol swabs for my needles - I will order some off Amazon as I have 3 left from Voy and will get some before I need them

Message Bolt about the swabs, I was sent them with my order although I didn't spot them at first they are in the same bag as the needles. Hopefully they will send you some.

Popping over from the July Starters thread.

This is the how to get your bonus dose out video:

I did the hard twist but the plunger would not push the liquid out. So I bought some insulin syringes from express chemist for £2.45. I got 0.76ml out so 3.3mg dose as a bonus dose. This was a good titration up to avoid side effects.

@WorriedRelative ooh I will do!! Obviously if they send them every time I don't want to buy a box of 100 just for one use 🤣

cosylife · 19/08/2024 08:56

Morning! So my husband had the scales out so I did a quick weigh in (mainly to make sure I was maintaining as a minimum) and I’ve lost 3.8lbs since my first dose on sat night. Majority if not all must be water weight but I’m over the moon even if that’s the only loss for the week!

CremeDeSudo · 19/08/2024 08:58

Well done everyone on their losses, this stuff is magic!

I've weighed this morning and I've lost 7lb in 12 days and am now overweight rather than obese!!

I do wonder how that will affect switching away though 🤔

Sickness wise, I've only been a bit nauseous really, until yesterday when I think I overate at breakfast and threw some of it back up 🤢 but that's the first time that's happened, and probably because I ate too fast and more than I have been. I couldn't eat much at all afterwards yesterday.

Wasn't particularly sick during pregnancy, just nauseous during the first trimester

Princessandthepie · 19/08/2024 09:05

@diian that video is not working, can you post the link again. Thanks

Princessandthepie · 19/08/2024 09:13

Another 1lb off this morning, which is great as its the first 1 in a few days.

So 10lbs off in total in 16 days, 3 inches off my waist too 😃

SW 15 stones 8lbs
CW 14 stones 12lbs

I would like to reach the 1 stone goal by this time next week but if I don't, it doesn't matter, it's still going in the right direction.

Blondeshavemorefun · 19/08/2024 09:28

I feel so sick

Worse now on day 4

DinnaeFashYersel · 19/08/2024 09:32

Day 2 on 5mg

Nauseous and burpy. Cannot face food. Food noise gone. Which is great.

1lb off overnight so that's me at 6lb overall.

Really feel I needed to get to 5mg to start losing.

Feeling positive this morning.

I've taken the first jab. It was harder than I thought! I was planning on doing it on my thigh but couldn't do it, so went for the stomach.

Fingers crossed I avoid the side effects. That's my biggest worry.

Arraminta · 19/08/2024 09:48

Interesting that so far there seems to be a correlation between suffering with morning sickness and nausea with MJ?

I'm cross because despite only consuming 900 calories yesterday, I have gained 0.5lbs???

I never had morning sickness in my pregnancies.

I've only started feeling nauseous on 5mg. Nothing in 2.5mg

I gained last week too, but half a pound is nothing in the grand scheme of things, try not to fret too much over it.

Are you more likely to feel nauseous on higher doses?

Thank you, I know. I did drink lots of water yesterday so probably just fluid.

Can you explain the maths on that?

How many ml make a 2.5 dose?

Choux · 19/08/2024 10:17

Are you more likely to feel nauseous on higher doses?

Going from 2.5mg to 5mg is a key time when some people feel the effects as you are doubling the dose you take. It's the only time the dose you take doubles. That's why the guidance says to spend 4 weeks at 2.5mg even though for some people this dose does not have strong effects and the therapeutic doses really start at 7.5mg.

Users taking the bonus dose (which often works out as being about 3.3mg if you extract it all with a syringe) as a bridging dose do report that helps minimize side effects. A few people find they can never get up to 5mg as it makes them too ill but get good suppression and weight loss from 3.75mg or even less. I'm now on 12.5mg and have no nausea, diarrhea, sulfur burps etc just occasional fatigue which is probably from months of regular calorie deficit. A few carbs usually perks me up if it gets too bad.

So flipping cold! Feel like it is mid-winter. Is that normal? Have just had to put a cardigan on, even though it is over 20 degrees here.

Lostatsea10 · 19/08/2024 10:30

Hi all, apologies if this isn’t the right thread to ask on, any recommendations where to buy from? Obviously I know there are loads of suppliers on a google search but looking for experiences plus price conscious. Thanks

I'm cold too!! Wishing I had a cardigan lol

Princessandthepie · 19/08/2024 10:39

OMG! I've been feeling really cold too! I had my winter bed socks on last night as my feet were freezing!

WitchDancer · 19/08/2024 10:43

Morning all. I've been cold too, which is really odd for me. I'm always the one in a t-shirt when everyone else is wearing jumpers.

I've just had an email from MedExpress prompting me to order my next injection pen, so I've done that while I remember. I'm going up to 5ml but am hoping I get a bonus dose of around 3.5ml so I don't get the massive jump. I've got insulin needles/syringes for this, which I bought right at the beginning.

I'm still hungry today, although I haven't had the urge to snack, so I call that a win. Roll on weigh and injection day tomorrow!
