Sorry for yet another MedExpress post. They have finally sent mine but given me tracking info for someone else. I can see this person's name and address on it!! Massive privacy breach. I've let them know and I am not impressed.

Wow!!!

I looked at med express when I first signed up, but was put off by the stories on here of shipping issues. Thinking of switching to Zava as I love their cold shipping process!

Yeah I think it might be time to try another provider. I only did this order because I had credit and like their maintenance stance. They used to be so good.

NeedSomeAnswersPlease · 03/09/2024 16:17

@BellaCriesAndThatsAlright it feels like a really mixed bag. My friend decided to start and her bolt order was stuck with Royal Mail for four days

Oh no, I've used MedExpress for 2 orders now & so have 2 of my family members. I hope we don't run into any issues like this.

Pinkbendyman · 03/09/2024 16:24

I’ve used Zava since my second pen, end of May. They’ve generally been okay, improved since they’ve increased their staffing levels.

Their customer service needs to step up though. They never reply to personalised questions.

NewLifter · 03/09/2024 18:55

Posting only to bump this up above the new thread!

NewLifter · 03/09/2024 19:02

So my suppression on my 2nd pen (3.75mg...) was excellent and lasting the full 7 days.

It's definitely not as good this week

Unsure if it's because I used a fifth dose, and my pen was unrefrigerated throughout and to be honest wasn't cold when I received it.

Or if it's time to move up a dose.

My plan is to take 3.75mg from my new pen this week and see how it goes.

I have a massive fear of increasing again after my horrible side effects moving up before, I've a crazy busy job and can't take time off sick for this 🙈

Sorry for the waffle 😂 I like to write updates like this so I can read back in the future 😂

Ifyounevergiveup · 03/09/2024 19:19

@NewLifter you could always do a baby jump to 4mg maybe? I haven’t had a single pen where the effects lasted all week. I wouldn’t have thought there’s anything wrong with the Mj; if 5mg is the first therapeutic dose and you’re hungry, I’d try to go up even if only a bit.

NewLifter · 03/09/2024 19:21

Good idea, thanks!

QueenOfHiraeth · 03/09/2024 19:31

@MamaBearH Some nurses are prescribers, including some at aesthetic clinics who will issue the prescriptions for botox, etc
Tirzepatide, the chemical compound, is prescription only but the only licensed for that can be prescribed is MJ manufactured by Lilly as the patent protection is still in place so anyone "prescribing" it is doing it illicitly It's the same situation as steroids which can be prescribed and used medically but supply via gyms etc is not legal.
I'd be tempted to report the supplier to the NMC if she is registered as it is totally irresponsible. Many of these vials are marked "For research purposes" or "Not for human use"

Pinkbendyman · 03/09/2024 20:51

For people using the Prai neck cream, has anyone noticed any significant improvement? Don’t want to buy some if it’s not worth it. Would rather spend the money on new clothes!

DangerousMouse · 03/09/2024 21:24

I bought the priar neck cream and didn't notice much difference, I did notice a difference when I switched to Trinnys elevator cream

Nope. I keep trying it to see if the formulation improves but it never does. If you want to try it, I’d recommend buying it from QVC. You get to try it for 60 days (yes, really) and if you’re not pleased with it you can then send it back. The only neck cream I’ve ever found to have any effect is Perricone (also QVC but sadly eye wateringly expensive)

SnacklessWonder · 03/09/2024 22:05

Oh I have been looking for neck and chest cream!

MamaBearH · 04/09/2024 00:03

I've a question about supplements if anyone can help. So I had magnesium & potassium left over from my keto days. I took them to avoid the restless legs I'm prone to & added ashwagandha (recommended by a friend for help with sleep). They've been working well but the last few nights my legs have been crazy sore & restless. I'm struggling to swallow 8 huge tablets every night so when they're done I want to try something else. Like surely you can get the dose of potassium in 1 tablet instead of 4 and 1 magnesium instead of 3. I think I may need other supplements but everyone I ask just shrugs as to how I find this out. Can't even get a GP phone call for ongoing medical issues never mind asking advice on supplements which they probably won't even do. A previous GP called them hocus pocus nonsense. I do have gut powder (Biomel) and collagen powder but haven't managed to stomach them in about a week.

So that's my long winded way of asking how to work out what supplements my body needs I guess. Also is there a way to get the correct dose in the smallest amount of pills?
I can't take multivitamins btw due to other meds and certain ingredients.

Thanks if you didn't fall asleep there lol

Pinkbendyman · 04/09/2024 06:14

Thanks everyone.

Mmm, I think I’ll forget the neck cream then. Tbh it’s not as bad as I thought and I am 54!

I was also worried I’d have loads of loose skin after losing 3 stone but I’m prouder of the weight loss and will take some wobbly bits here and there.

I can’t take collagen supplements as I’m a strict vegetarian either.

WeKnowFrogsGoShaLaLaLaLa · 04/09/2024 06:25

@MamaBearH - I also take magnesium for restless legs and I take one tablet, normal size? Can't help with the potassium but here's a link to my magnesium:

You could try asking a pharmacist, especially if a multivitamin interacts with other meds you are on, you will want to be sure your not taking anything that could interact . Clinical pharmacists are often more knowledgeable on drugs than GPs. Just explain your on weight loss medication

If you can get your hands on l-threonate, it's a magnesium supplement that's really good for sleep as it passes the blood brain barrier more effectively.

I also have no clue about potassium, but I take a daily effervescent electrolyte that contains potassium recommended to me by my urologist. I don't know if it contains the amount you need but you can buy them on amazon.

If the tablets you've got aren't coated with a gastro resistant film, you could also crush them in a pestle and mortar and add them to a drink or viscous food. It's how we have to get my autistic child to take tablets and was some friendly advice passed on to me by a dementia nurse.

I’m now exactly two weeks in. I’ve had no side effects at all, my appetite is definitely smaller, I feel full very quickly.

I haven’t lost much weight on the second week, but at almost half a stone lost in two weeks I can’t really complain.

SW 16st 4lb
CW 15st 11lb

I am struggling with fatigue, and my go to when working was a can of Monster Energy. I had one yesterday then was horrified with myself when I saw what the calories were. I need to find a replacement. I suffer with CFS so the MJ fatigue on top is getting to me a bit

IReallyNeedThisToWork · 04/09/2024 07:54

@MelainesLaugh I have read some people saying that electrolytes have helped with fatigue. Maybe have a google

It's mad isn't it when you realise how many calories are in things especially drinks (I love a Redbull!) and how much exercise it takes to burn it off!

Seriously!! It’s no wonder my weight crept up. There was me thinking I had been good food wise but it was Bad Apple Monster Energy that got me!!

MelainesLaugh · 04/09/2024 11:27

Had anyone else found they have been really farty on MJ? I mean like really loud ripply ones. I could play a tune I think with how my bum is sometimes.

Thanks for this. How do you find taking the mixed magnesium -does it affect your guts? I know there's one of them that can have that affect.
