Storms a coming!

Lightening map shows a huge storm in the south west heading central England. Is anyone experiencing it? Please send it up to me 😁

What is this magic that is a lightening map?
And where do l find it??

I can see it’s just south of Witney in Oxfordshire. We are in Bucks and we have rain. It’s cooling down a bit!

Getting a few loud rumbles but far apart at the moment and only a couple of flashes of light south of Oxford. Do love a good thunderstorm but have a pensioner mother on the phone as she hates them amd a toddler who occasionally asks 'what was that?'. Sky went from bright blue to very grey quickly.

Same here, FOD.. nothing yet just a dribble of rain! Would love a good bit of thunder.

My goodness, it was like the apocalypse here in Bath at 5.45 to 6.40 - I had to stay in my office as no coat, sandals , sleeveless dress and monsoon conditions plus fork lightening, thunder and black as night!!

We had this in middle Wiltshire about half 6. Very very windy and a lot if rain. A tree came down and took our phone lines with it. Still raining now but not that heavily.

How funny, no storm in SE London but the sky has gone dark and it’s a bit blowy.

Oxon/Bucks border, We've been watching the lightening for the last 20 minutes, it's moving away now and the rain is slowing down.

I was working in Minehead today and the storm was right above my head, the thunder made buildings shake! Had to drive through flash floods on the way home 😳

South Bucks, bit of rain but not terribly heavy. Had a couple of thunder grumbles, but they don't seem to have turned into anything more. Yet.

Yep , it’s awful when this happens - we saw quite a lot of fire engines out in Bath , all with sirens on- which as ironic as they knocked down the fire station last week as it was apparently unfit for purpose

It has started to drizzle here, and we can just about hear some faint rumbling noises in the distance as it bothers Milton Keynes.

I'm in North Somerset and it was like the end of days. The wind and rain was like something resembling a hurricane. It was so dark at 6pm all the streetlights were on, it was like midnight out there. The thunder and lightning was continuous with no gaps between andso loud the house shook.

Boooo it bypassed my bit of Cornwall. How selfish.

Couldn’t make it up! Thankfully it seems the family of the house near us all got out safely, looks like there’s a lot of damage though.

Unfortunately for those hoping for the storm to reach them it appears to be tailoring off.

we might well see another in the next few days.
