We are a few weeks away from the start of meteorological summer (1st June) so here are some early thoughts from Netweather

It's much nicer today, I got stuck in train delays for 3 hours yesterday so glad of a cooler journey in today

Got stuck for two hours yesterday in a traffic jam because the driver of a car pulling a caravan blacked out went across a roundabout was propelled into the air and hit the cab of a wagon destroying and separating the cab. Car upside down, caravan destroyed too. I've seen the pics. Was so sudden and catastrophic took Google maps time to catch-up. 🙈

Still very hot in my bit of the SE. Evening walk rather than lunchtime, probably very late evening. Forecast showing nice for a while. Can it be true?!

This is depressing

It's beautiful in the south east this morning!

A bit rainy in Manchester.
Supposed to be going to a barbecue later, I offered them use of our gazebo so it's not a total washout!

Drizzling here, and not to rub it in, that's irritating as the last of my pre-holiday needs to be dried.

We've had drizzle here too and I'm another one washing everything ready for going away/holiday next weekend as well.

Well 1st of July yesterday and it was a truly miserable day here ~ dull, rain and a chilly 14C.
And it looks a mixed picture for the rest of the week.

Just1234 same here, I've put my little jacket back on. It's grey again too.
I don't like the heat tbh but mid 20s with some sunshine would be nice!

The week looks mixed but this year I’m taking any sunshine at all as a Good Thing.

I feel the cold. I have a scarf on. I never have scarves on in July.
Looking towards next week, at the moment, the beginning of the week continues to look mixed but mid-end of the week looks better ~ warmer and drier.

It feels like bloody March. Grey and grim every day. I'm heading abroad in a couple of weeks for some sunshine so you'll probably all get the sun here that week 😆

The recent days seem to start and end with sunshine. It's just the 12 plus hours inbetween that's grey and breezy 😫

It's weird at 6am brilliant sunshine, by 8am cloudy and showery, then glorious evenings and sunsets.

Cold and windy in Hampshire. Just got the office caretaker to switch the air con off as it's too cold to think.

I shouldn't moan really

I know how you feel @justasking111 We’ve fucked over our weather but it’s not as bad as some effects of climate change. Scary stuff.

It's blowing a hoolie tonight. Not raining. My tumble dryer blew up today DH said I'd have to use the washing line. He got the look and quickly muttered we'd better buy another one. My fridge freezer has packed up too. Another one being delivered on Monday. 🤬🤬
