if you have clear dark skies looking to the north, go outside now! Even reportedlyvisible from some parts of southern England.

I'm in London - I haven't got a chance, have I?

(posting to bump for luckier beasts!)

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/02/2023 21:59

I shall keep bumping the thread.
Just a green tinge for me.

MNisMyGuiltyPleasure · 26/02/2023 22:03

Has anyone seen it yet?

thinkhorsesnotzebra · 26/02/2023 22:03

It appeared on my active but alas I have clouds. Also commenting in the hope others have better luck!

Talipesmum · 26/02/2023 22:03

Can’t see anything in Surrey - it’s dark but there’s quite a few street lights about.

ComeTheFckOnBridget · 26/02/2023 22:04

I've just seen this is active - that's new isn't it?

Talipesmum · 26/02/2023 22:04

Thanks for tip though!

I live right next to an airport, in the south, so I doubt I'd see it. Far too much light pollution. Sad

BertaHoon · 26/02/2023 22:04

I just went out in an East Mids town centre. Kidding myself 🤣 . Nevermind, put the bin out.

I can see stars! (Not in the injured way, bin out successfully completed).

This week.

MustardColeDrow · 26/02/2023 22:05

I am in Yorkshire, sadly cloudy but I was very excited for a minute at the sheer possibility

Suzi888 · 26/02/2023 22:05

BIWI · 26/02/2023 22:05

SW London here - my loft office looks North, but too much light pollution Sad

RedToothBrush · 26/02/2023 22:05

Thank you. Thank you

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/02/2023 22:05

I hope someone sees it. Don't want an entire MN being disappointed! Let your eyes accustom to the dark.
