if you have clear dark skies looking to the north, go outside now! Even reportedlyvisible from some parts of southern England.

I couldn’t see it with my eyes but my phone captured this (near Bath)

Of course now I can't go to bed, in case they resurge and I have a chance to see them properly. I'm loving all the photos.

I'm on the south coast and just rushed to look out of my north facing bathroom. Could see a moving glow but wasn't sure if my eyes were deceiving me, but used my camera to make a video and they're not! Can clearly see movement in the glow - amazing!

There’s little light pollution where I live in the rural south West Midlands and the stars, moon and planets are all very bright - but no Aurora, sadly.

They've been seen in the Black Country, West Mids, according to my local Facebook page.

It's fascinating how variable peoples experiences are. I have no idea why, other than light pollution and slight changes in geographical position.

Is it still visible?

Apparently yes, still going in some places.

This is the first time I’ve ever had a red alert on my aurora watch app. It’s cloudy here so can’t see anything!

Raced up to our attic but can safely say not visible in London!

Southern England with clear skies but zilch. Cat's excited that I was tramping around the garden in the dark!

@OhYouBadBadKitten That 'verified tweet' in Birmingham isn't the aurora. It's just a lit up moonlit sky.

I am not a million miles from Birmingham as the crow flies, and there is nothing here.

Looks a combination of sprite or red lightening, combined with the green auroa

Plenty of great aurora pics on here and some on twitter and facebook, but some pics are just the moonlit sky. I think it's people wanting to see it/hoping they have seen it.
