if you have clear dark skies looking to the north, go outside now! Even reportedlyvisible from some parts of southern England.

Beautiful stars in Suffolk, no lights. I’ll pop out again with my phone.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/02/2023 22:28

Amazing Buddha how far north are you?

Too cloudy in South Cumbria but my daughter is in Scotland and the sky is alive with colour

Where? Because I'm glasgow and can't see a thing.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/02/2023 22:28

Aurora is very hard to spell when you're bouncy with excitement!

@OhYouBadBadKitten we’re in the highlands clearest I’ve ever seen. Thanks again for the heads up! We’re currently standing in a field at 10.30 on a Sunday night!

QueenOfThorns · 26/02/2023 22:30

Damn! Too cloudy here, but thanks for the heads up.

I’m in the East, and in the bath! How long is this likely to go on for? Our street lights go out at 11.30.

I'm afraid I don't know.

I think I missed it, was watching telly, checked Facebook, loads of great pics from friends ( Central Scotland). Got in the car and drove up a hill but only the faintest green tinge visible, would have not noticed it if I hadn't been looking.
Well at least it's something to look forward to in the future ...

buddhasbelly · 26/02/2023 22:31

The stars are looking fantastic too

Tomorrow night might be active too.

As I don’t have much planned for Monday evening I’ll most likely be back out, ah @OhYouBadBadKitten youve made my night!

EwwSprouts · 26/02/2023 22:34

We've got rain here in Yorkshire :(

People do as OYBBK says and look through your phone camera - they made us do this in Iceland, where we did see them :)

PriamFarrl · 26/02/2023 22:34

Slight pink tinge here in Suffolk. I’ll look again once the street lights go out.

HeavenIsAHalfpipe · 26/02/2023 22:35

OMG these pics are amazing.

I saw the aurora some 35 years ago. But have never seen it since. Thanks guys. For the pics. Smile

Moomoola · 26/02/2023 22:35

Ahh! Near portobello, but cloudy here. Poo.

OhYouBadBadKitten · 26/02/2023 22:37

Even though I've not been able to see anything but a bit of vague green, I'm going to go to bed happy because others have seen it.

Oh my goodness. It's cold out there! No aurora to report.
