It won't affect you - you sure about that? Have you considered what would happen the UK if the gulf stream stops?

Er yes it will @AutumnAlmanack. Flooding etc aside, how does 150-200 million climate refugees by 2050 sound? Because that is what the UNCC projects. For comparison, the Syrian refugee crisis was ~6 million.

Also @AutumnAlmanack might be worth considering (presumably) living in the UK, a small island nation heavily reliant on food imports, and how global food scarcity will affect ‘us’ then.
