Yesterday was

B: overnight oats with nectarine, raspberries and seeds
L: soup (roasted butternut and cauliflower) and crackers, beetroot, cherry tomatoes and a kiwi fruit
D: black bean chilli enchiladas with avocado and tofu sour cream and a huuuuuge corn on the cob with lots of plant butter
S: choc digestives, collective yogurt (fudge, meh. Will stick to raspberry)

@Arepeoplereallycoolaboutthis I think my current list of comfort foods is quite long but includes Dahl (with good bread and steamed or roasted veg), anything with slow roasted aubergine in, veg stew with dumplings (with veggie sausages/beef flavoured chunks/beans), black bean chilli, ramen and roasted veg

@Greenrubber I've found a Yorkshire pudding recipe that I quite like (although it doesn't taste like a regular Yorkshire pudding it's still nice) I can dig it out for you if you'd like

L: I tried out this recipe for vegan tuna mayo and loved it! Had it in sandwiches

@Arepeoplereallycoolaboutthis I'd add gyoza (fried on one side and then steamed) dipped in poke sauce with some sort of Asian veg like I had for dinner last night to my list of comfort foods. As well as most vegan options on the wagamamas menu 😂

Yesterday

B: overnight oats with nectarine, blueberries and seeds
L: rose harissa chickpeas and salad (leaves, beetroot, avocado, artichoke hearts)
D: veg gyoza (itsu), wok greens (green beans/pak choi), corn on the cob with miso butter (lush). Mango and passion fruit mochi (x2)
S: Kit Kat, fudge yogurt

Yesterday

B: fruit plate (kiwi, mango, plums) and a slice of granary toast with marmalade
L: salad - leaves, beetroot, avocado, grapes, yellow tomatoes, artichoke hearts, a sprinkling of seeds and vegan feta, raspberry vinaigrette
S: popchips
Dinner at a music festival 😬 Tibetan - Dahl, chickpea and spinach curry and rice. Topped with a veg momo (wish I’d bought 2). Then later a fresh donut with biscoff sauce (not Tibetan 😂)

We've been away (just on way home now) - I wouldn't normally have so many carbs in a day:

B - peanut butter and banana on toast
L - plant based burger and chips (in a garden centre cafe)
D - not very hungry after the burger so 1 slice of White Rabbit Smokin' Vegan pizza with salad

We live down south and did a bit of a northern road trip, visiting family near the peak district and on the north west coast. It was lovely!

B: porridge with ground cloves, cardamom, coconut and mixed berries, seeds snd almonds.
L: quinoa with leek, mushrooms and asparagus
D: brown rice vermicelli noodles with lemon and tamari tofu, red pepper, peas, sweet corn, mushrooms and sesame seeds
S: pine nuts (completely addicted to this at the mo), sunflower seeds, dates, horseradish hummus and oat cakes, walnuts.

@quinin it's one of my favourite sandwich fillings (like a stuffing sandwich 😋) Do you toast your pine nuts for snacking or just eat them from the bag? I LOVE them toasted but never think to eat them out the pack

@PartTimeDomesticGoddess I bought a nut roast today 😊 I do love pine nuts toasted but they are really lovely au naturale. It's quite an expensive habit to have though!

B: cardamom and cinnamon porridge with mixed seed, blackberries, blueberries and raspberries.
L: roast veg with beetroot and horseradish hummus, asparagus and pine nuts.
D: lemon and garlic tofu with brown rice noodles, veg and sesame.
S: pine nuts, walnuts and almonds, lion's Latte from planet organic - was delicious 🤤

@quinin yes to an expensive hobby! If you have Costco access that's usually better value, as long as you're confident you can eat the bigger quantity (which it sounds like you could be 😂)
