GBNews are reporting that Harry and Megan are moving back to the UK at the end of August.

I won't believe it until I hear it on the BBC.

How do any posters know how long Charles has got??!

Nobody knows how long any of us got!

On sky now.

Im not really bothered. I suspect it’s because Charles is a lot more poorly than we know and they want their children to know their grandfather.

Never stopped them needing to know him for the past few years though....

Hm explains the softly softly I would like to come back a few times a year

If it’s true my guess is the US isn’t working out for them and is horrendously expensive and they are fast running out of money.

Personally they can stay away

Wills will be going ape shit tonight!

Hunnybadger1 · Yesterday 22:45

Doesn’t Harry have to pay millions in legal fees for the Daily Mail court case?

DoubleShotEspresso · Yesterday 22:45

Good for them, I hope it works out for them, whatever their reasoning.

I am not especially a fan, but hugely admire Meghan for agreeing to this when she’s painfully aware of the hatred she will receive, the very second her Manolo’s hit the tarmac.
I think as KC is so unwell, it’s a great & significant gesture for Harry to return now, let’s hope they can all at least begin to get along now.

Agree with every word….disloyal arseholes …x

Now on BBC as well. I hope to god they never ever are allowed back into the family to work. They have done so much damage to the RF. no one can possibly trust them

am surprised Meghan is coming but my guess is she’s becoming an outcast in the US and hopes to do better here. She’s incapable of reading the room and understanding the great majority don’t care about her and don’t want either back as working royals

This. I think Charles will be dead within a year. He doesn’t look well and treatment was reduced some time ago.

I suppose it will all cost the taxpayer.

Well if anyone else can have their treatment on the NHS via the tax payer than I suppose he can too.

MauveLibrary · Yesterday 22:48

Neither Harry or his wife are popular. I gather from this announcement that they are out of money and are crawling back with their tails between their legs..they were adamant they would not set foot back in the UK because they claimed it was unsafe to do so without armed taxpayer funded protection. Harry litigated extensively around this and repeatedly had his claims dismissed by the court. He is about to end up paying a huge amount in legal costs for his ANL court loss. So they are coming back purely to try and force themselves back into the family and the country they have spent years abusing in the media etc. I rather doubt William or Catherine will want to see or speak to them.

Can this be played in reverse?

A divorce after 10 years marriage is very costly in California. This will protect Harry's assets if that ever happens...

OrangeBlossomsinthesun · Yesterday 22:48

The BBC article online I think says they are keeping Montecito.

Oh please. They are coming back for themselves it’s nothing to do with Charles being ill

And Meghan and Harry do not see grace from
the British public. They have behaved abominably since they left.

LivelyGreyShark · Yesterday 22:50

Surprised that BP leaked this - oh wait no i'm not.

LadyGaGasPokerFace · Yesterday 22:51

Didn’t Harry pop over for a little trip last month? Paving the way to return. I don’t think they’re too popular in the US either. I thought Meghan was never coming back here?

Mere1 · Yesterday 22:51

Mylovelygreendress · Yesterday 22:14

Nah , they are too self centred for that . I suspect it’s for financial reasons .

I agree.

Any1ForTennis · Yesterday 22:52

Could the kids be going to boarding school and H&M hardly being in the country except for PR purposes?

Surprised that BP leaked this - oh wait no i'm not.

It was on people magazine first, meghan and Harry's favourite outlet to leak to.

HelenaWilson · Yesterday 22:53

So what was the point of all that legal action about RAVEC if it suddenly doesn't matter?

Meghan curtsying or not to the king - every little move they make will be scrutinised.

Since they won't be working royals, there's no reason why they should be seen at public events with the King, so there'll be nothing to scrutinise.

I suspect it's about money too. The BBC says a non-royal residence, but possibly Pa is helping with housing costs and school fees - with some pretty strong conditions attached about talking to the media about family affairs.

I do think it will be nice for Archie and Lili to get to know their cousins though. There are quite a lot of them all around the same age.

BagsyTimBradford · Yesterday 22:53

Just when you think things can't get worse in this country...

AnAlpacaForChristmasPleaseSanta · Yesterday 22:55

I went on holiday recently and accidentally left milk in the fridge for a fortnight. Even that aged better than this!

xino · Yesterday 22:57

So they’ve run out of money then.

Evilspiritgin · Yesterday 22:57

I wonder if they will stay with his uncle? Hasn’t he got a book coming out? They’re both birds of a feather
