Are the bets on or off for an invite to Balmoral?
Will Meghan bake a humble pie for Catherine?
Let’s discuss……!

Why would David ‘MAGA’ Foster want anything to do with a couple whose known associations include Soros and the Kennedys? And W.H.O? Labour cabinet members?

Is Harry pretending that he has fingers in many pies? Honestly, you’d think someone like David Foster would do his research (or have someone do it for him) and twig that HaM are troublemaking berks who put the love of money and publicity before all else. When did H last deliver a deal that wasn’t for his own personal benefit?

Plus, being in the company of HaM must be excruciatingly boring. I don’t think I could take it for more than twenty minutes.

But I guess Foster’s using H somehow, in his head.

I think you're being too generous with your twenty minutes, I don't think I'd cope with ten. 😁

Thanks for the new thread.

Am just catching up, so this point may already have been made (so ignore if so).

Why should W&C be the ones to "eat humble pie"?

They're not the ones who are returning to an institution that they had to get a freedom flight to escape from, that caused them to be "suicidal" (& yes, I'm using the quotations deliberately), that "lied" about them, that was full of institutional racism, that withdrew their security, that discussed the colour of their children in a derogatory way, that refused them help when "suicidal", that took away their passport and car keys, that leaked and briefed against them to the media, that silenced them, that cut them off financially.

Why exactly would the Wales' eat humble pie out of the 2 couples?

I think it is clear that Meghan dislikes Catherine intensely and certainly doesn’t see her as senior to Meghan . It is interesting that M was offered support from a lady in waiting , an Equerry and Sophie and refused them all yet Harry said that Catherine ( pregnant and with 2 other small children) wasn’t welcoming enough . Catherine didn’t take her shopping, was reluctant to share her lipgloss and refused to hold hands meaning that M had to walk behind her .
Pretty sure the humble pie comment was connected to that period and now M is saying that she has won although what she has won mystifies me !

A little more money but I'm not sure it will be enough. They'll get housing and an allowance but, outside the Royal Duchies, no one in the family seems to be living the life of a billionaire. Millionaire sure but I think they are aiming higher than that. It won't give them personal commercial success, that ship has sailed.

And there’s absolutely no guarantee that they would receive the 24/7 security they desire . It would probably be the same as Anne and Edward - security whilst undertaking Royal duties only.
Having said that I simply cannot envisage H and M being working Royals.

👋 many thanks @BigWillyLittleTodger! , sorry was offline hosting guests for a few days and feel it’s rude to fiddle with my phone, I’ve caught up now 😁

I will never stop being astonished that Meghan thought holding hands with another grown woman on a royal engagement would be considered anything other than really, really seriously weird. It’s just not normal behaviour, whether you’re royal or not. No wonder Catherine couldn’t stand her. Imagine having to put up with all that pawing, on top of the completely nauseating Markle personality. Poor Catherine.

Justdancevance · Today 13:49

Heat and yahoo news have links to Omid Scabie and his appearance back on the scene defending Meghan is interesting. His Hollywood project seems to have stalled so he’s back on the Meghan bandwagon

Omid and Meghan seem to share a hatred of Catherine, but having to use Heat as your mouthpiece is beyond tragic

what next, exclusive interviews in take a break 😂

JoanChitty · Today 13:51

I believe that Meghan Markle has some sort of mental illness. She does not behave like a sane person would. She seems to live in her head and doesn’t seem to understand actions have consequences. She watches others to see how they react to situations as though she’s not sure what to do. I believe that at the beginning Harry was so grateful that the aging d list cable tv actress took him on he would have done anything she commanded. Now I think some small part of his brain realises that people may have been correct after all.p
It’s probably easier to make a phone call to soothe a situation than listen to her ranting for hours on end. Do I feel sorry for him? Certainly not. I hope they stay together irritating the hell out of each other forever.
I don’t believe they will ever return as working royals. The BRF has moved on and they are not required .

If they are holding hands Meghan would be beside Catherine rather than behind !
There is a video of H, M, W and C going on stage to do some event and M is clearly trying to hold on to C .
Will try to find it .

I think it’s the Fab Four interview. The Lipgloss Incident had just occurred.

SqueakyDinosaur · Today 14:16

I believe M also tried the handholding thing when they appeared at Wimbledon together. Anything to avoid having to walk behind C.

And yet HaM barged through the chairs at their last Commonwealth event to ensure they were in front of the Edinburghs!

Unfortunately for them, their poncing around pretending to be royal, has shown just how bad they are at the job. Utterly nauseating, wide-eyed, false sincerity from MM; angry, self-absorbed displays from Harry. Not to mention the slapping of arses, ignoring of weeping, bereaved mothers and inane grinning next to ill children.
They won't come back. There's nothing for them to do.
Harry would come back and do nothing, but no way MM would.

Yes, I think it was at Wimbledon from what I recall reading. Meghan wanted to hold hands with Catherine as they descended the stairs at the end, side by side. I wonder what C's response was! Grin

If you dig out the footage of pregnant Catherine coming onstage with W for the Fab Four interview. Just as she energes from behind the curtain you can see her fighting off the Markle claw.

Oh god that really was very funny, especially as Sophie and Edward were standing in the main aisle waiting for HaM to emerge out of their row like normal human beings, but one of M's circuits tripped and she started cruising through the Abbey furniture in front of her in her green hulk costume.

I couldn't watch the whole thing as Meghan just spouts rubbish. Its like a reel in her head clicks in and she only has one speech on it which gets shoe horned into every time. When they did this fab4 thing we'd not heard the reel before so it did make her look quite articulate in front of the cameras, but now we've heard it a million times its just so fucking boring.

3peassuit · Today 15:53

I hadn’t seen that clip before. She has a wonderful knack for saying a lot that means very little.

She was really fucking rude though from the get-go, rolling her eyes like that and being so pointlessly contrary. I'd not be impressed if that was a student performance in a seminar or group tutorial - I'd be telling her to focus on her argument rather than a fellow student.

SqueakyDinosaur · Today 16:02

And also, the Foundation's aims at that point had been set and the focus then IIRC was on youth mental health, so her just barging in and apparently repurposing the whole thing to fit what she wanted to talk about was so incredibly arrogant and rude. Did we get the Proctor & Gamble story then, or was that a later addition to the script?

I remember a lot of the media coverage though being very critical of Catherine, saying she came across as very passive and unconfident in comparison.

I really, really hope they don't come back. I think they've shown (or more to the point, Harry has shown) that they're not cut out for the demands of royal life. There has to be absolute trust that royals keep their mouths shut - they have to deal with all kinds of high-level people and this is crucial. Meghan is just a has-been actress but Harry ought to know that what they've done rules out any possible return to royal life.

I suspect that if KC did allow them back on some basis a) William would throw in the towel and just go and live a private life somewhere and b) it wouldn't be long before something upset Meghan again and they'd rush back to the States to do another round of interviews and films about their cruel treatment.

Yes, I am slightly worried that KC, ill as he is, is a sentimental old chap and might be a bit of a soft touch for Harry. But I hope Camilla will talk sense into him and of course, he owes a lot to his non-prodigal son, William and to Catherine who was a major victim of H & M's spite. That shouldn't be forgotten and W & C's peace of mind should be KC's priority.

If he wants a private relationship with Harry, that could possibly happen but I don't think it's fair to expect William or Catherine to ever have to work with Harry or Meghan again - or even meet them, in fact.
