What’s the point in H&Ms case tho - they generate massive PR - but are totally unable to translate that into a revenue stream for themselves - in fact they just devalue their own brand with their nonsense - whilst MSM / SM make the $$$$$ from H&M words and actions. The irony!

True. But a wiser head, especially one who perhaps wanted to benefit from royal adjacency, might have made more effort to praise the plucky team or some such and say they were unlucky.

It’s not that Harry has commented, he can say and do whatever he likes.

The issue is that he is still trying to cosplay being royal. Yet the Royal family don’t criticise sports teams representing the UK, they praise their efforts.

By giving his view on the team mentality, he is cementing himself as a non-royal commentator. Now he can crack on with that - and good luck to him if that’s his chosen career - but he can’t then pretend he is still a working royal.

There’s a rumour going around X that Harry signed over the house to Meghan in case he had a huge legal bill .
Obviously i don’t know if that’s true and I also have no knowledge of the American legal system but I thought it was interesting given how Meghan has distanced herself from Harry and his woes.

How to say he can crack on with anything he likes while criticising him for doing so!

On this very thread, Harry is criticised for not attending the football and then criticised for commenting on it. He can’t win whatever he does.

As for the RF not criticising the sports representing the UK, Prince William went one further on a podcast. during the World Cup no less, and let it be known that his father, the King, hates football!

Hating football isn’t criticism of the national team.

Harry has demonstrated, by his behaviour, that he truly, madly, deeply wants the status of being a member of the royal family. He fails to understand that he cannot be a commentator for hire and a member of the WRF. And yes, people can comment on his hypocrisy.
