What more summer shenanigans await us from the Montecito duo?

“Captain Tequila” 😂
JB/CT seemed to be among those publicly blaming H&M at one or two public events back around the jubilee and funeral.

That should have read “publicly blanking”

Who are JB/CT please?

I'm guessing Jack Brooksbank, but I don't know who CT is 🤷

But that's the same person as Jack Brooksbank, surely?

Cardemomle · 19/07/2026 12:24

Jack Brooksbank appeared to be the only one talking to Harry at the Coronation, apart from others' polite acknowledgements.

God he’s tedious, I can’t believe (or I can) that he’s still banging on about campaigning for security. If anything this visit has absolutely proved that they have no need for police protection when they visit, particularly if they keep their gobs shut about where they are going to be and when.

I really hope the home secretary doesn’t give him the time of day.

On a different topic, I think Harry thinks he’s being clever with these leaks about the meeting with Charles. I think he honestly thinks that because he hasn’t briefed a verbatim of who said what, that he’s getting away with it.

He must think the King and the MIGS are as stupid as he is.

He has been told no so many times , he is like a child nagging for sweets/ new phone / whatever !
So tedious.

But Ingriftus isnt an income for PH - so even if it is wound down it just then means he has more time on his hands……

I know Ingriftus isn't an income. If it goes, he really has nothing. Therefore he needs a few "royal walkabouts" in the UK

Starryfifty · 19/07/2026 13:03

Funny how they don't clapback ok other issues. The Ingriftus costs, Dr Sophie's accusations, CG pill revelation, Meg's bullying, African parks, Ingriftus petition to have him removed, etc

Everyone apart from Harry thought so .

Maybe he's just twigged that his pal Yvette Cooper might not be Foreign Secretary as of Monday, and Shabana Mahmood might not be Home Secretary? He could be dealing with Ed Miliband and Wes Streeting if we believe some rumours (!) ... I really have no idea, and neither does Harry, and I think he's having yet another panic about his little 'deals' falling apart.

And as others on here have indicated, RAVEC and MI5's National Protective Security Authority (NPSA) really do have a lot on their their plates right now. Harry left the circle for California, but yet is still offered a bespoke arrangement, the lucky sod. And still he whines. I wonder if the MPs receiving a truly rubbish security service will finally lose patience with him.

I'd say his knowledge of British politics are limited. I
imagine his MO is, if he kicks off loud enough, Pa will intervene and he'll get all his bells and whistles

My local MP had to leave her city centre office and work from an undisclosed space because of violent threats. She doesn't get bodyguards or motorcades though.

Russell Myers' article archived https://archive.is/2JKhc

My favourite line:

Following a massive internal security operation, Meghan and the children flew in from Europe to the Midlands after earlier pulling the plug on a planned trip to London over fears for their safety.

Edit to add - they are trying to be careful but over several articles you can see that each one releases a tiny bit more information than the previous ones. In this case the new information is:

One source described the meeting as “emotional” and both the King and Harry hoped to arrange a further gathering in the future.

Edited

Oh please! She's a wannabe influencer who peddles flower sprinkles online. She happily travels all over the world with no great fuss being made of her.

"massive internal security operation" my backside!

Their obsession with 'security' is just so weird. I have never ever known of anyone like that. Certainly people with genuine security concerns do not behave that way.

What was the massive security arrangement??

I'll eat my hat (cheese or otherwise) if they've bought any Portugal property. For a start, what with? I maintain it's far more likely that this is an arrangement probably brokered by Jack B. where they're getting to use a unit not yet taken by a buyer for pennies. They are experts at borrowing other people's houses, let's face it.

Same. I do not believe the 'house in Portugal' exists. Or if it exists, it belongs to someone else.

They can't afford it and I don't see why they would want it anyway. If it's sun sea and sand they're after, they have it at their doorstep. And if they wanted a holiday home and had the money, they could buy somewhere which doesn't involve flying over an entire continent plus the Atlantic Ocean.

IcedPurple · 19/07/2026 16:04

Starryfifty · 19/07/2026 16:01

What was the massive security arrangement??

There wasn't one. They just want to pretend they are so terribly important that their travel requires cloak and dagger secrecy. As if they were Heads of State rather than a mid level influencer and an unemployed exiled princeling.

Mylovelygreendress · 19/07/2026 16:18

Has the will they won’t they go to Balmoral started yet ?

Starryfifty · 19/07/2026 16:01

What was the massive security arrangement??

Probably boiled down to internal security staff slamming their coffee mugs down and cursing 'FFS, I thought we'd got rid of these wankers in 2020'.

Lunde · 19/07/2026 16:25

It was funny though when Harry's team tried to create drama at Chatham House to deal with the "massive crowds"(mostly journalists covering the ANL verdict and Invictus volunteers) - that was apparently too scary Harry's security team of burly blokes to get him the 5 steps from the door to the car.

It backfired as the crowd control sent by the Met was 2 unarmed beat cops who just stood and watched the small crowd with bemused expressions.

I love the fact that they sent 2 unarmed regular beat officers!

I love that WPCs face, stuck with two Rent-a-cops and prince petulants PR trying to escalate a non-situation.

Her undisguised boredom and mild disgust sums it up perfectly
