Reading that article demanding an apology makes me so bloody cross. If they are back as if nothing has happend and all behaviour forgiven then I shall have to ignore all mention of them.

I do feel for a William, Catherine and Camilla after all that was printed.

It does look as though that’s the way it’s heading doesn’t it. I really feel for William and Catherine, if indeed Harry and Meghan are offered an official role by Charles as was suggested on the previous thread, then I think it would destroy any relationship the Wales family have with Charles, I don’t think William would ever forgive him, would Charles really go that far?

They are getting what they always wanted aren't they? Half in half out. What a life. Basically piss about in California for a few years then back to business.

I would say they are securing something with KC to ensure William cannot strip them off anything in the future

I typed a reply to this on the other thread, but it filled up before I could post, so I'll put it here.

It's been nearly 7 years since the Sussexes were working royals. They've done the interview, the 'tell all' book, the NF series. What more have they really got to spill? They're little more than an annoyance now, and becoming more irrelevant by the day.
Whereas Edward had been an actual King and remained quite popular after his abdication. He had a completely different level of influence to these two chancers.

The RF giving them a role doesn't need to be about them not spilling further beans - although I am very sure there are further petty, shitty things that someone will gladly pay them to say out loud for some low brow project. It's about maintaining the dignity of the institution of the RF by not having the king's son debasing himself for money. There's also the matter of trying to quash any chance of Harry making a Diana documentary for next year full of wild theories about her death and embarrassing his father over his affair - we already have a reveal of further Diana tapes in the pipeline courtesy of the person who was the go-between between Diana and Andrew Morton.

Edward's popularity would have been destroyed had the government and King George made it known (or allowed foreign powers to reveal) that he was a Nazi sympathiser and a traitor. They didn't precisely because they wanted to protect the institution. Giving him an official role was a means of keeping him under control and self preservation.

I know that KC loves Harry but I am sure that William , Anne , Edward and QC not to mention his closest aides will strongly caution him against anything other than a totally private cup of tea .
I wonder if KC would have the nerve to tell Harry not to take Meghan to any meeting ? He did it when TLQ was dying .

When I think of how much I dislike them and how frustrated I get at their outrageous behaviour which now appears to be getting them exactly what they want, I always think how must W&C feel, it must be unbearable, I can’t imagine the hurt and anger, hopefully if Charles does bend the knee to the nasty bullying pair of grifters the extended family, the Tindalls and the Phillips will be supportive to William and Catherine.

You said this much better than me. PH is well on his way to becoming the next AMW. He's a laughing stock and there is more and more coverage of him touching men inappropriately. It's only a matter of time before wh official complaint is made. He still has a title.

And absolutely agree. Must be horrible for William and C. However, they both fully aware, the firm comes first

Just a thought, but on your point at 19:06 it's possible that family and staff have cautioned Charles about other things as well, but that's not necessarily going to stop him doing them

I've no idea if H&M will bring the kids or not, but even if it's just the two of them that'll be the end of any focus on the vets instead of them ... a shame, but hardly anything new

It says on X formally known as Twitter that PH is bringing MM & children in July 2026 for an Invictus Games Event. Reported on GBNews and others. It says it’s the first trip they’ve all taken together since 2022.
