The pennies might be dropping here because someone said A&L were dressed in Zara (with Shopify links) for the Fathers Day photo - so that might well be the way forward for all 4 of them. Catalogue family.

Many years ago a friend’s Mum used to model knitting patterns and occasionally my friend and/ or other members of the family were included .
Maybe an idea for the Sussexes ? H did say M could make her own clothes!

A lot of people either have forgotten or were not paying attention! , ham didn’t just accuse the royal family of racism, they didn’t just accuse the U.K. media of racism, they didn’t just refer to the commonwealth as empire 2.0 , they didn’t just alter the queens coronation speech to align with their narrative or fabricate false magazine covers or press photographs!
no they actually accused all the people of the U.K. of racism!! Why are people ok with that? , why would we want to re embrace them after such lies?
I have not forgotten! , I’m not alone!

Yes, all of us are racists, or so they implied by using random shots of union flag waving demonstrators from some, also random, brexit protest/march and that this was the reaction of the British people to a Royal marrying a WoC.

Absolutely unforgivable of the ‘royal’ Duke and Duchess of Sussex. And to do it for money and spite against their family … This is why I can never look at H with anything but contempt tbh. He is the racist shit in the equation; and I’m sick of him projecting onto the entire UK.

It's outrageous.

Exactly my point @thenightsky ! And yes @TheAutumnCrow, Harry is the real royal racist! , yet he gets a pass somehow 🤷‍♀️ , as a child, growing up I didn’t have to be taught that wearing a Nazi uniform or calling people “pa*” and “ragh**” or “frog” and taking the Micky out of the way an Indian man spoke was wrong, it’s just common sense!
I am particularly baffled that their supporters don’t understand or realise that they were branded racist along with the rest of us!!

If you mixed with people using racist terms it wouldn't actually be common sense at all. I remember being told me parents to never use certain terms, about how awful racists were. It certainly is something that is taught.
This is why, generally, cultures vary in terms of accepted racism. People aren't just born knowing the term p* has implied racism whereas "Brit" doesn't.

My point is that Harry wasn’t raised surrounded by people using those terms either! , his own mother told him off for taking the Micky out of the Indian man , unless you think the royals were secretly bandying such terms around?
he has no excuse! He wasn’t a child but an adult! He did it because he thought it was funny and that normal rules didn’t apply to him.

and further my parents didn’t tell me about racism growing up ! , it wasn’t a topic and I still knew it was wrong.

Ah I see. I think Harry's very low intelligence comes into play here. Combined with a really nasty personality streak.

Not2identifying · 23/06/2026 10:49

Perhaps also the posh schoolboy circles he literally lived in (at boarding school from 8)? The more intelligent boys understood the difference between what they said to each other privately and what they could say publicly. It doesn't reflect well on any of them, of course.

abigailll · 23/06/2026 09:20

Agree. They can’t even get this right. Everything they touch turns to (monte) shitshow. If I was Zara marketing team - I wouldn’t want my garments presented in such a shoddy way.

Especially in the middle of an expensive law suit Jo Malone London v Zara for their range of Jo loves perfume, clearly trading off the brand name that Jo sold to estee Lauder with a no competition clause.
Considering the cost of her perfumes £125.00+ for really weak product zero silage ( I have a few of her absolutes) it is naughty to be producing same product at a 10th of the price for zara. To be fair JML have fiercer competition with London fragrances who produce 99% perfect copies for £3.75 at that price I got the collection.
Sorry off track! But surprised Zara would want association with scruffy kids.

You're quite right, jeff, but he was raised among people who consider themselves somehow better than we little people, and unfortunately Harry doesn't even have the wit to hide it

I also think TheAutumnCrow has a point about his deflection onto the general population, and while he wouldn't understand this either maybe there's a bit of "if they're all racist too I won't look so bad" going on?

Oh no doubt puzzled ! How could any of them not when brought up in such an entitled bubble!
however most of them have either learned a certain amount of humility or atleast don’t flaunt it publicly like Harry and his dear uncle!

TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis · 23/06/2026 11:14

I would almost suspect that Harry's own racism doesn't come from a particular sense of bias based on race, but from his bullying nature.

Bullies, IME, are incredibly aware of hierarchy, and how to exploit it. Race is just one of the things they know affects status and power and that can be exploited. Harry has used it both ways - to exert power over his poor army colleagues and to exert power over his family with racism accusations.

If it weren't race, it would be something else. Wealth, rank, an extra sausage, an employee who's bent over, a disabled matron, the fact that someone once danced with his mum.

In some cases, racism can be less entrenched than a bullying nature. Because Harry would find another reason to reinforce his status or to whine about people.

TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis · 23/06/2026 11:15

To add, Meghan being his wife sort of enforces this - a "full" racist wouldn't ever marry a WOC.

But a bully would absolutely marry another bully (with the same instincts of when to exert power), and a "hot girl" is kind of the ultimate status symbol for a bully.

jeffgoldblum · 23/06/2026 11:20

Harry’s biggest cock up was trying to implicate the two most unlikely people in his desire for revenge!
had he pointed the finger at Phillip people would have thought 🤔 mmm possibly, had he implicated Andrew people would have believed, although to be fair to him unless I’m mistaken Andrew is an equal opportunity abusive twat!

Puzzledandpissedoff · 23/06/2026 11:21

Insightfully put, @TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis

We have ample examples of what happens when Harry fails to get his own way and they're not pretty, but in that I don't suppose he's very different from some other family members ... it's just that he lacks the intelligence to put a decent face on it or even get his story straight with his endless whining

Harry’s biggest cock up was trying to implicate the two most unlikely people in his desire for revenge!

Edited to add I agree with this too, jeff - made worse for him because one was the future Head of State and the other the wife of the next in line for it.
As you suggest, someone more intelligent might have chosen different targets, but as so often Harry's accusations appear to come less from facts and more from his own manic sense of grievance

You could well be right here! We know they are both bullies, I don’t think Harry probably knew Meghan was mixed race until she told him! And he definitely knew nothing about race or unconscious bias until he was told!

noonames · 23/06/2026 11:27

Just seen that Meghan has added outfits from the last Invictus to OneOff - quite shocked that she's prepared to exploit disabled veterans from Harry's so-called passion project to make a few quid.

How much lower can they sink?

Why would she care? , she happily exploited sick children in a hospital and the bondi beach victims ( bonus for merching an outfit that looks like the outfit the holocaust victims wore!)
it’s almost a shame her and Harry didn’t go for a couples merch! , he could have dusted off the Nazi outfit and made it a theme! 😡

I never really got into Suits, and the sum total of my knowledge about Meghan actually came from an episode where her dad shows up, and I was surprised he was black. My husband said it was obvious she was mixed race, but my track record is crap in this instance (I don't pretend not to see race, but my brain is dumb and will be like "oh, that woman and has the same height/build/hair as my sister" whilst failing to LOOK AT HER FACE and see she is Asian).

Funnily enough the other episode I remember is where Rachel applies for some fancy law job and is told about a long list of other candidates. She's saying they're impressive - then she's told that is the reject pile. I wonder if she ever thinks about that scene? You can be excellent, amongst the best and still fail, still not be ranked that high.

In real life she seems to have great difficulty never ranking quite amongst the best. Probably due to her messed up home life.

My parents had an extensive racist vocabulary, and the racist attitudes to go with it. Somehow, despite this andcdespite living in an all-white part of the country, I discerned that racism was bad at an early age.

I’m with you! , I genuinely don’t notice what colour someone is ! Why would I ? , I had no idea Meghan wasn’t white because she looked like every other American celebrity 🤷‍♀️ ( and i wasn’t particularly interested) , however I was called a liar on here and vilified! 🙄
