Can’t see a new thread so thought I would start a new one to continue discussing the grifters

I don't imagine she'd ever be able to bamboozle Kate, @passingthrough123, but as they've shown so often both will fling dirt if they fail to get what they want, together or not

All of which is why the family would have to be mad to allow them near anything saleable now, and I wouldn't have thought even they're quite that stupid

I don’t think even Charles is that stupid, much as he might like the idea of a reconciliation between his sons. But even if he were, everyone around him, his wife, his elder son and DIL, his siblings and his advisers will not be.

The other thing that strikes me is that all the crazy H+M shenanigans we discuss is only the stuff that has made it into the public domain, which I’m sure isn’t the half of it. I bet there’s even more terrible behaviour that we don’t know about, the details of the bullying, things that were said at the Sandringham meeting, nastiness around the wedding, QE2’s death and funeral. Rumours and gossip about the Waleses that they tried but didn’t make it into the papers. And in Harry’s case of course, decades of evidence that he is a racist, entitled, lazy, stupid, violent drug addict, in short, a total prick.

corblimeygvnr · 18/06/2026 10:08

I can't see the whole family coming. There will never be a reconciliation between H and William. Why would you reconcile with someone who has taken the piss, stabbed at the heart of the monarchy and denigrated your wife and family? Will never happen.

StartupRepair · 18/06/2026 10:16

I would love to see Harry 's return linked with a review of how his and Meghan's expenses have been charged to Invictus and a separate investigation of their connection with the trolls who attacked Catherine.

And never shown the tiniest bit of remorse, regret or self reflection over his behaviour.

If Harry was genuinely sorry, if he gave a heartfelt apology to the family for everything they’ve done, and vowed never to breach their trust again - then in time, not straight away, I think it’s possible that he could be forgiven.

But I can’t see it ever happening. Harry is a bitter, spiteful, arrogant and entitled man, without the intellect, emotional intelligence or desire to understand the consequences of his own behaviour or take responsibility.

I think a meeting with KC is enough for them. Plenty of mileage out of that. Little Prince and princess meeting their adoring grandpa the King of England 😅

Lunde · 18/06/2026 00:38

Of course having a huge stand of empty seats isn't going to be a problem at Ingriftus 😉😉

Oh god that really says it all.

‘The dookerina requires you to vacate the seats around her for security purposes.’
‘The dook and dookerina require you to crowd into the seats around them for publicity purposes.’

I agree. I think it's just wishful thinking on the part of the Sussexes and their fans.

I haven't seen any announcement.

Camilla is the one person most likely to sway Charles if he's tempted to give in on anything. I do hope she has a word. She's served her time now and is doing a good job as consort.

She has shown incredible dignity and self control. I really respect Camilla for how she's risen above all the snark and the vile gossip and the nasty claims by Harry. She's genuinely showing up and doing good.
Team Cams 💪

H&M do not realise how unpopular they are. It's the RF issue. Not theirs. Remember, he's still waiting on an apology. He assumes he and his family will be warmly welcomed by the British public who adore him 🙄

This. I suspect they both have the memories of when they were first engaged, the incredible wedding, the support they had, how popular they were. They're never going to get that back again because they trashed it.
It's a fantasy now.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 18/06/2026 11:32

I’m thinking that the children will be seen in public when they come over because this then gives Meghan the excuse she needs to fully use her children in her grifting, no need to hide the faces anymore, she can monetise them full throttle, Lilibet’s Closet……..

Yes, that's the only thing left to sell, but I wonder if that will have the impact she thinks? I don't think they're going to make $millions out of Lilibet's Closet.
Clever use of the late Queen's nickname though.

Exactly.

It's not news that they're the King's grandchildren. A meeting behind closed doors, with no photos and no public comment, isn't really a win. But that's the best they can hope for.

But I can see them wanting some shots of the kids with their grandfather for the memories and it would be very hard for Charles to say no if Archie and Lillibet are in the room with him. They'll get a family portrait that will no doubt pop up on the sideboard in the background of MM's next jam reel.

Appalling use of her nickname. I know you can't own a name, but it was what her darling father called her and it was personal and precious and, as Queen, one of the very few things in her life that was not public property and which the public had no claim to. H and MM have now made it such.

According to Valentine Low, the Queen refused them any sort of photo when they brought Lili to meet her at their Jubilee visit. I don't see why the King wouldn't do similar. Besides, is a glimpse of a photo that big a deal? Like I say, it's not like everyone doesn't know that Archie and Lili are the King's grandchildren.

SaltyTea · 18/06/2026 12:11

If England or Scotland does well in the World Cup, they won't get much publicity.

Yeah, that was a particularly shite move. Call the child Elizabeth, Beth, Eliza, Lily....but the whole Lilibet Diana thing is so transparent.
Also deliberately a power move and a money grab. They're such grifters.

Edited

KC is sentimental but he's not an idiot, he won't be played. He'll find it hard to come back from their vile claims about Camilla, but also Kate.

elessar · 18/06/2026 12:18

it would be interesting to know how H&M have positioned the RF and the King to their kids. Less of an issue now perhaps but it will increasingly be as they get older.

Because on the one hand if they’ve played the victim with the whole, we can’t go to the UK because it’s so dangerous and the King won’t step in to make us safe, we were treated so badly, your grandfather married a wicked witch, your uncle was horrible to daddy etc etc - then it’s not going to make the kids feel comfortable about meeting Charles or wanting to get to know him.

On the other hand if they’ve mainly played up the positive side of their royal relations, then as the kids get older it will be hard for them to understand why they have no relationship with the wider family and why they visit so rarely.

At a certain point, surely the kids themselves will see and start to question the hypocrisy and contradictions in their parents’ position.

This is what H&M haven't factored in. They'll see what their parents claimed, against what actually happened. At some point they'll read "Spare" and see all the awful stuff on Netflix etc. it's not going to be good.

BasiliskStare · 18/06/2026 12:29

@elessar re At a certain point, surely the kids themselves will see and start to question the hypocrisy and contradictions in their parents’ position.

I do think there is truth in this. I also think (speaking as one not from a famous family) there is so much children can gain from having a good relationship with their grandparents. (I don't speak of GPs who have behaved heinously or are "toxic" in some way - I'm talking about GPs who may not be perfect but have a great deal they can contribute to the life of their grandchildren. ) I know DS got a great deal out of his relationship with his GPs and still does with the one he has left. It just seems a shame for a spat, and for money. Which is why , as the adults , H&M should be doing everything they can to give their children a decent , private relationship with all their GPs imho, regardless of point scoring or financial opportunity. It seems such a blind waste.

Agree - weaponised and monetised their daughter’s name. Whilst inside the RF they were quite obvious in the rejection of any RF connection / naming tradition with Archie Harrison - but the minute they flounced and are grifting on the otherside the whole Lilibet Diana royal adjacency $$$ sprung to life.
