Meghan and Harry the grift that keeps on grifting. Long may they continue. Better than any soap opera on the telly.

The Times opinion of the latest drop with share token
What Meghan’s latest lifestyle porn tells us

"Among the images is a short video of Meghan cutting onions, which may or may not be an in-joke — it’s hard to tell — but anyone who has ever cut an onion with a blunt paring knife after consuming half a bottle of wine could do it a lot better."

Brutally funny. Clearly her lifestyle backers have disappeared, and she's giving the old college try of doing it all by herself, without success. It's deeply amateurish and cheap looking, without any clear vision or direction of what, or who, she's trying to sell. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of lifestyle/home/trad wife type influencers doing this stuff light years better and far more authentically than her.

Well it really is a matter of time isn’t it…..As ever has ended its relationship with Snow Commerce, the e-commerce site that runs the fan merch for big name brands.

I missed that - when did that happen, @AtIusvue?

So glad there's another.

I just read the Harold dropping his knickers for David Walliams allegations with my jaw hitting the floor.

Is there any context?!

It was when H first met David W. H has a habit of dropping his trousers. Does he do this with his American pals? Did he do it to Jeff Bezos at Kris Jenner party ?

Starryfifty · 10/06/2026 21:49

And what man flashes his arse to another man or indeed anyone?? I have met some dodgy/ uncouth men in my time and they wouldn't contemplate this.

Thanks for the new thread @HoldMyWine.

Was just catching up with the old one and agree with the comments re Harry's security.
He currently has a very good deal where his risk is assessed each time he is visiting the UK - he just needs to give 28 days' notice (this gives time both for an assessment and for security operatives to be available if needed, without breaching employment legislation on leave).
It also allows for emergencies, as we saw when he came over urgently to see KC3 when he was diagnosed with cancer.

The Master of the Rolls who gave the original judgement (which Harry appealed) said that 'having studied the detail of the extensive documentation, he
could not say that the Duke’s sense of grievance translated into a legal argument for the challenge to RAVEC’s decision.'

Harry's problem is that he can't see past the sense of grievance. The issue is clearly not one of security (his behaviour gives that away).

So presumably H would need to be giving his 28 days notice in round about now, if he's planning to come to the UK for some kind of "one year to go until Invictus" publicity shebang?

I wonder whether he's done it or not? Perhaps he's been putting it off, in the hope that he would get the security review results he was hoping for?

StartupRepair · 10/06/2026 22:05

Wonder what sort of reception H will get in Birmingham?

I was just going to mention Rachel Maxwell who has been trying for some time to investigate the Invictus finances. Seems to be hard going though because officialdom isn't exactly co-operative & the documents she has managed to obtain have been redacted.

Some of her findings thus far:-
Prince Harry’s Invictus Games faces funding questions after $63M spend

Incidentally it's Rachel who set up the Montecito Minimalist website which makes for quite an amusing browse. Montecito Minimalist | Luxury, Satire, and a Smirk

Thanks for the News Nation link. Here's Rachel's latest video, posted today.

Possibly the kind of chap who slaps a volunteer on the arse at Bondi beach.

Increasingly I think H did not know how the MIGS made him acceptable to the public. He doesn't seem as much of cheeky chappy fun chap now. & some of Spare makes him seem like a very entitled misogynistic young man. But hey ! He's done therapy & learnings. It would be nice if it showed , but that's his problem.

She is now merching the truly awful clothes from the denim-on-denim crotch shot on her ‘One Off’ Page. As well as a gold necklace no one had even noticed, such was the horror of the aforesaid tawdry denimwear. So that’s the motivation. More clothes horsing.

$225 for the shirt and the Only Fans jeans are yours for $325. Both designed by Tracy James who - gosh, fancy that? - is married to the CEO of Paramount Studios. Lucky Tracy was also one of the first recipients of the famous Meghan jam way back when. Big suck-up!

Yojll need $21,500 for the necklace.

Another Invictus issue today, referencing the Time interview - an exclusive by Paula Froelich in NewsNation about the Canadian veteran, Scott Snow, who was severely injured in Düsseldorf - no restraint on the wheelchair, and neither the Canadian team nor Invictus had insurance cover.

Canada does have a national healthcare system, so his basic medical care was covered, but not much of his physiotherapy/rehab etc.
The Canadian government has since organised insurance for veterans attending the Invictus Games, but that doesn't apply retrospectively.
He is taking legal action against the Canadian Dept of National Defence and Armed Forces but not Invictus (because it's a charity helping veterans).

He's also disappointed because he contacted Prince Harry's office as well as Invictus during this time. He did (eventually) manage to have a conversation with the leadership of Invictus Canada, but has not had any response from Prince Harry's office.

Sorry, just still catching up on thread 15 - but if H&M had stayed as WRF what level of security would they have had? Is he asking for more than he would have had if he had stayed? As in, do Anne and Edward have less than Charles and William? But he wants what Charles and William have?

bluegreygreen · 11/06/2026 00:51

Yes.

The King and Queen and the Wales family have permanent 24/7 security.

As I understand it, Princess Anne and the Edinburghs have that level of security when they are on official duty only.

(Someone else may have more details.)

RecoIIectionsMayVary · 11/06/2026 06:34

Just when I think nothing will surprise me.

How on earth has this happened?

Edited

That's correct. The King and the Wales family have the security they have because they are constitutionally and politically important, not just because they are members of the Royal family. The others only get security, at an appropriate level, when they are representing the crown, and by extension the country.

Eventually Charlotte and Louis will have their security down graded as well.

Harry has never grasped that simply being born royal isn't a criteria for security, let alone IPP status which is governed by international agreements.

noonames · 11/06/2026 06:48

The problem I think is that he compares himself to any of them really, when they are working royals and he isn’t. They are in high profile roles representing the govt / state / UK which attracts a certain amount of risk, so in return we provide security for them. Harry on the other hand does not represent the govt / state / UK and is not required to do anything that increases his risk. He doesn’t even live here. He is basically Zara, if Zara lived abroad, never saw her family and had even less to do with royal life than she does now. Afaik, non working royals do not get personal security provided by the state as a matter of course.

Of course there is some risk for Harry in being the son of the King. So when he comes to the UK appropriate security provided. He is also offered accommodation in a secure royal residence, which he declines in favour of staying in hotels. So It’s quite shocking really that he seems to be arguing that either he should have more security than is necessary (at our expense, so wasting public money in order to prop up his ego), or that he knows better than the security services what is appropriate.

But yes, he wants more than he would have had if he’d stayed. Before QE2 died iirc, his security came as part of being the family of the PoW. Nowadays he’d be just another working royal, like Anne and the Edinburghs, and they do get a lower level of protection than KC3 and the Waleses. Harry is so stupid that he thought he was / would be an IPP and have free security wherever he went. Dimwit.

Thedom · 11/06/2026 07:14

Things are clearly becoming desperate for them, they are reduced to trolling for clicks on the Daily Mail, they are caricatures of a celeb couple, similar to Katie Price, who I think is the only other celeb who manages to garner thousands of comments on the articles the DM write about her.

The People and US articles are all paid for PR and barely get any audience reaction.

Hard to believe they were tipped to become a billion dollar brand when they initially left the RF.

According to court documents related to Harry's security 'case', RAVEC place individuals into a few 'tiers'.

The first tier comprises those who will automatically get lifelong security due to their roles, without any need for a security assessment. Names were redacted but we can guess they mean the most senior royals, the PM, maybe other high level ministers too.

Tier two is those individuals who receive security based on current threat assessments, but this security is not guaranteed and could be reduced if intelligence assessments indicate. That tier includes Harry. So even if he had remained as a working royal, it's very likely his security arrangements would have been downgraded at some point.

MyAutumnCrow · 11/06/2026 07:40

H will always be an idiot and a hypocrite.

Here he is in Time magazine, putting suicidal ideation at the heart of Invictus to keep the grift money rolling in:

Harry hopes to keep growing the Invictus Games and perhaps make it a two-week event rather than one, to give more service members opportunities to compete. “One thing that we really celebrate at Invictus is not only do we change lives, but we save lives as well,” he says. “That's not based on anything other than the amount of individuals that come up to me and say, ‘If it wasn't for Invictus, I would have killed myself.’”

And yet as @bluegreygreen points out (credit to Paula Froelich), Canadian veteran, Scott Snow was severely injured in Düsseldorf because there was no restraint on the wheelchair, and neither the Canadian team nor Invictus had insurance cover. He’s had to pay a fortune for physical therapy himself, and Harry’s office hasn’t responded to him.

What a terrible human being H is. Imagine Scott Snow reading that Time piece?

I don't think the jeans look particularly 'gorgeous' but this awful photo is yet another reason why no major fashion brand will work with her. The angle is terrible - it focusses on her crotch and cleavage - and you can't even see the brand name!

I doubt a single person will buy those clothes based on this photo, especially given the hefty price tag.
