I am curious, have the security arrangements changed and H and family are therefore happy to come or is the security the same and they have followed the process.

They should be barred from working in health care again. An awful breach of trust and misconduct. As it would be if it happened to anyone, eg the Southport attack victims who also had this.

If I were Meghan I'd be insulted by Harry's talk of 'bringing' her to Britain, as if she were a piece of luggage.

She's a grown adult. Older than him. Surely she can make her own decisions about where she wants to travel?

If they do come I think the media will have a field day. Let's face it, other than Andrew the royals have been pretty 'boring' these past few years, so the royal reporters are craving some royal gossip.

I'm sure the King, if he meets with them at all, will insist on no photos or publicity. But that won't stop them 'leaking' to their pet journos, and I predict a few pap walks and 'charity visits' too. That's of course if this 'visit' happens at all.

Harry and his family have always been given whatever security is deemed appropriate, provided they cooperate with RAVEC, including by giving notice 28 days in advance. That's more than fair and generous, considering Harry is a private citizen and occasional extra in his wife's twerking videos.

If Meghan was reluctant to travel to Britain, that has nothing to do with 'security'. Look at some of the places they've visited in recent years, happily leaving their children on another continent. This is not the behaviour of people paranoid about security.

It says (and I saw it worded the same on a different report) “former healthcare worker at the London clinic”. This suggests they have been sacked but we don’t know if the person was professionally registered or just HCA or similar. If on the register they should be struck off, I think the NMC process would wait until after the ICO have investigated and delivered their verdict (which seems to have taken a ridiculous amount of time) so would start proceedings now. I suspect the person was in a non regulated role so this is a very weak slap on the wrist, they could now be working as a private carer or something. Literally no consequences at all for them.

Poor Catherine, it must be horrible feeling you can’t trust anyone. When she was pregnant with George there was that awful business of the joke call which resulted in the nurse committing suicide. Now this.

As per a pp, it all came via a source timed for when William and Catherine appeared at Ascot. Then to extend the story cycle, H&M can then deny the source in outrage.

H&M can also keep driving the narrative: "How can (King Billionaire) Grandpa not see his "black" grandkids A&L...but please ignore how we never reach out to the other (Poor Amputee) Grandpa."

It seems H&M's new media tactic is the "blood-sucking leach" i.e. latching onto any appearances of William or Catherine. So, after Ascot, we are guaranteed shenanigans at Wimbledon, George's birthday, Earthshot, Remembrance Day, Christmas Carol Concert and Christmas Walk.

H&M's relentless PR campaign will likely keep this thread going...IMHO, we shall certainly be entertained!

If they do bring the children I hope they don’t appear at any public events, those children have no experience of royal or public life at all, if they are shoved in front of the cameras to promote their brand that will be outrageous.
