Megs outfit is good today. Suits her, isn’t creased and appropriate.

However, they were writing aspirational messages on post-its. It was Harry that wrote the most word salary nonsense though….maybe it’s Harry that writes the copy for As ever?

Harry and Meghan write messages of support to patients in Jordan

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined a World Health Organisation (WHO) team as they spoke to patients at the National Centre for Rehabilitation of Addicts in Amman, Jordan, today.

Looks like they spent yesterday evening at a reception held at the British Ambassadors residence...

AtIusvue · 26/02/2026 10:00

This is really weird, why are they being supported by the government?

Yes, looks like a definite thawing in relations doesn’t it. I have this feeling we are going to be seeing more of this in coming weeks and months, especially if the security issue is conveniently fixed too.

Thedom · 26/02/2026 11:01

Both the DG and the Ambassador are out of jobs within the next 12 months, and the British Embassy in Jordan has a shit reputation. They have posted nothing on their SM about H&M, but clearly entertaining celebrities seems to be ahead of supporting British citizens. An example of their 1* reviews, of which there are many.

You can forget about any community spirit in Amman if you are British. Other embassies organize special events for their citizens. The British embassy - forget it. If you are a British citizen and have an emergency in Amman - good luck! The doors to the embassy remain firmly closed. Disgusting service from H M ‘s service”

My word 😲, Harry is gone !

The gulf between both their demeanors in palpable.

Edited

I can't see a reference like that without thinking of "Oh monsieur, with these Rocher you are really spoiling us" Grin

Still want to know what they're doing offering government hosting to H&M though, and I don't care if the incumbents have only a short time to go.
Surely they represent only themselves or they don't?

All the comments I’ve seen online, have been about his demeanour. He looks like he’s struggling, disheveled etc.

Whatever we think of Megs, this must be hard for her to deal with. He seems very moody.

I am sure it is a heavy burden for Harry to know he is not the beloved most popular British Royal, that he is, in fact, someone who cannot carry out any public service without any degree of respect now the RF PR is out of the picture.

I am astounded at the amount of images of Meghan posing directly for the cameras when everyone else’s interest is focused elsewhere away from the camera. and that is from only the few short hours they spent yesterday doing a handful of quick visits.

It’s clear this is nothing more than a photo op for her, that’s her priority.

It's like this is Meghan's tour, but she's brought along her emotional support animal. He's a bit scruffy and mangy, but he goes everywhere with her. Luckily he's not very reactive and doesn't crap on the floor.

elessar · 26/02/2026 13:56

My god the word salad on those post it notes - could they be any more clichéd!
'It's OK to not be OK. Trust each other. Congratulations on your recovery. Now share your courage and experience.' 🤢

Of course Meghan is using her signature “calligraphy” style with her big flicks on all the words as well. I suppose it’s one step up from writing messages on bananas?!

The DM seem to be absolutely trolling them with the number of photos they’ve included - you see the full range of “Harry and Meghan looking concerned” “Harry and Meghan listening intently”, “Harry and Meghan laughing”. It all feels very contrived

Putting an early bet on pictures from this trip featuring in 2026 Xmas card. Probably one with just Meghan in it.

ShamedBySiri · 26/02/2026 14:45

Thanks that should read.

bluegreygreen · 26/02/2026 15:01

'It's OK not to be OK' was a 'mental health' slogan that appeared everywhere about 3 or 4 years ago, promoted by well-meaning people who didn't have any deep understanding of what they were saying.

It was put up in our staff coffee room, at a time when several people were struggling. The intention was good - to remind people that it was OK to ask for help, to acknowledge that things were tough - but the wording in itself always grated horribly with me.

If it's not OK, it's not OK, full stop. Writing short snappy statements on post-it notes doesn't change that - whether you're in Jordan or in an overworked NHS unit.

I don’t agree . William will never agree to H and M being involved with the RF again.

Papercompany · 26/02/2026 15:52

I think she is just gathering material, photos, etc for her 'story' - at some point she will be selling it. I don't know why either of them are there....the post it notes looks like a school project.

I hope you are right (and agree about William) as I don't think they should be anywhere near a British Ambassador.

I hope the UK government explains what their ambassador is up to. Being so close to British officials on this trip is a big change for both H&M and the UK Government.

Harry isn't exactly "showcasing" his tour skills though - who wants a visit from someone who can't be bothered to present themselves in an appropriate fashion and stands around looking thunderous? Why on earth would the RF want to send him out to charm the crowds? He looks worse than a wet weekend.

Guest385 · 26/02/2026 16:31

I was wondering if thats the reason H looks so miserable. Being so close to British officials might be triggering for him?? It's all really odd..

Thedom · 26/02/2026 16:36

There is a video doing the rounds of them being shown the contents of a food box, they are being shown tins of something, and Meghan asks ‘so they have to open those up?’ I mean WTF,.

The comments are brilliant. ‘yes, you open them up and you take out the tinned carrots and then you take out the peas and you exchange them, and voila, a lovely surprise gift for your guests” 🤭🤭
