What exactly are they doing in Jordan?

I mean, other than for their own publicity, why are they there? Whats the purpose of their visit?

They are tagging on to a WHO delegation visit.

I very much doubt it.

My guess would be Harry and Meghan requested it.

Harry isn't exactly "showcasing" his tour skills though - who wants a visit from someone who can't be bothered to present themselves in an appropriate fashion and stands around looking thunderous?

I always try to remember these are only snapshots of a moment, @BoudiccaRuled, but then you can't produce an image of someone looking thunderous if they don't, and he certainly seems to look that way a lot

I doubt he'd even consider that his "skills" might need work though; he's a PRINCE don't you know, and I wonder once again how he's really coping now he doesn't have people to fall at his feet for every comment or action

He's trying to think of a suitable name for it. (To give the owner some ideas).

I wonder if reality is hitting home for Harry. He's seen his father react in fury to Andrew MW's actions, and remove his home, titles and privileges - essentially cutting him off from public life. He must be shitting himself that he's next (you can't tell me that Charles isn't sending money his way). Whatever is going on, he looks miserable and grumpy and it's not a good look. Meghan is too busy finding cameras to stare at to notice, it would appear. They had the world at their feet and now look at them.

Sorry, slightly off topic but I have just seen a advert for a programme on Saturday on The Middletons - Is it time for them to become working Royals?

When the entire country is calling to cut the number of working Royals and someone dreams up a programme to suggest the in-laws should join the firm.

Harry helped to invite the Israel IDF into the ‘Invictus family’ in 2022/23. As if the Birmingham games aren’t going to be enough of a shitshow, now he’s playing politics in Jordan with Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus and the British Embassy.

He just looks utterly miserable these days. I actually feel a bit sorry for him.

They are getting verbally eviserated online for being ‘trauma tourists’ using injured Palestinian children to shore up their faux humanitarian PR tour.

They deserve every criticism being levelled at them.

They both have very expressive faces - Harry's seem to come straight from the heart and Meghan's....well, I never know what's going on there. She does beaming smile/cover girl most of the time, then morphs in to doe-eyed tragedy queen at the flick of a switch and then gazes at Harry as though her man-child is about to have a huge meltdown. All very odd, is any of it from the heart though?

I agree. Neither of them had anything to say when thousands of Palestinians were being killed almost daily in missile strikes, or when Trump and Netanyahu were talking about turning Gaza into a beach resort. Harry has welcomed the IDF into Invictus.

This is a PR opp for them, nothing more, and I think it’s pretty sickening that they have the gall to use it.

Coincidentally, I just saw the clip. Meghan and Harry were being shown a box of rations. When shown the cans of food, Meghan asked if they have items to open all these? The woman showing her said yes, and showed her something on the bottom of a can. I assume it was one of those keys you use to peel back the lid.

It seemed like a practical question on Meghan’s part. Seriously what else could one say about canned peas etc? It’s the sort of question I hear the royals ask all the time in these situations.

@NightBitch the woman should have said " no you dumbass we give them things they can't access ". 😂

Was there really a need to have that child show her injuries? To them ? Maybe. To the whole world? Maybe ? Yes they have donated to WHO but it doesn't give you the right to view this. They are being used with this visit and they are too dumb to even see it.

On another point I wonder if Meghan had as much feeling about her father if she had seen him. Would Harry be having a photo op with his father in law's prosthetic leg?

Clips on X showing her hanging on to Harry for dear life. Who does that? Clip I link they all seem to be simply walking down a corridor in the hospital but H&M are behaving as if they have just been shown an amputation without anaesthetic or something, hands on hearts, faces cast down and then the killer move to cling on to him.
At the end there is a group photo. Every single person standing normally except for Meghan clinging onto her Prince. Honestly I don’t know how he can stand it.

That said there is one clip where Harry is carefully keeping his hands unavailable so her move to grasp his hand fails.

Those expensive PR people ought to get real and honest with her and tell her it looks pathetic and she needs to keep her hands to herself.
