Oops - when a Palestinian Ambassador calls you out and you get embroiled in news which is negative for Invictus.

And then your contribution to a Palestinian supporting organisation is brought up. Oops. Too many fingers in too many pies.

I agree. Neither of them had anything to say when thousands of Palestinians were being killed almost daily in missile strikes, or when Trump and Netanyahu were talking about turning Gaza into a beach resort. Harry has welcomed the IDF into Invictus.

This is a PR opp for them, nothing more, and I think it’s pretty sickening that they have the gall to use it.

Yes, Harry welcomed the Israel IDF to Invictus when they were already being investigated for breaching UN resolutions and accused of human rights violations. Harry played a big part in helping to legitimise the IDF on the Invictus stage and Israeli politicians milked it for all it was worth. One of the IDF veterans hailed Harry as a ‘king’.

This is why he looks awfully hypocritical in Jordan right now with his pretendy concerns; and why I think having the Invictus games in Birmingham next year will be an expensive mess.

I remember when the Mail first reported the story (and is probably another reason why Harry dislikes ANL so much.)

Prince Harry criticised over plans to invite Israel to Invictus Games

Israel's inclusion was agreed in principle in London this month, The Mail on Sunday reports. An Arab journalist said it was like a British Royal provoking another community.

He’s absolutely right.

What the fuck even is a ‘humanitarian visit’ by these two?

AtIusvue · 27/02/2026 13:11

Not sure what’s going on….they were invited to the British embassy….they weren’t?
Anyway…the trip has been seen as inappropriate

Harry and Meghan's visit to Jordan's UK embassy is condemned

The Foreign Office was criticised when the Sussexes revealed in their own press release that they had been hosted by the British Ambassador in Amman, Phillip Hall.

Yes, enabled by Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus (PhD), who did have an iftar invitation. TAG is quite a political operator.

I don’t agree . William will never agree to H and M being involved with the RF again.

And yet, until quite recently Andrew was a full royal, and even now remains in the line of succession, and enjoys financial and other support from The Firm. I'm not particularly a Royalist, but I'd definitely prefer to have Harry in the family instead of Andrew.

JSMill · 27/02/2026 13:24

Omg they are shameless.

Luckily it’s not an either/or situation. They can both be parted from their styles, titles and honours, and they can both be removed from the LoS and from the roll of CoS. Andrew first, preferably, accompanied by an investigation of his daughters.

Agreed - they "can" be. On the whole, though, there's been little action on the Andrew front unless the RF were absolutely forced into it. The Epstein papers appear to reveal info that suggests the RF were at least aware, if not complicit, of Andrew's carryings on. And the secrecy over the payout to Virginia Guiffre - I will not be at all surprised if it transpires that taxpayer's money was used for this.

I hope it all comes out. I think finally that journalists are on it. It would good to see them catch up with book writers, social media commentators and You Tube channel creators. Even some politicians seem to be better investigators than a lot of journalists have been.

I also hope that Harry’s ‘charitable endeavours’ are throughly trawled. He learned how to operate from the royals including the Yorks.

Just because Andrew is an absolute fright of a man doesn’t make Harry or his behaviour ok.

Zimunya · 27/02/2026 13:51

Agree entirely!

corblimeyguvnr · 27/02/2026 13:54

They were used by the Dr.

JSMill · 27/02/2026 13:55

It’s very clear that government officials felt unable to speak up about Andrew when he was a trade envoy and look how that ended up. Yet now we have M and H skipping around Jordan with Dr Tedros, who is a bit of a controversial figure himself, and carrying out visits that have political themes and then visiting the British embassy. It makes the visit look like it has government blessing. Yet the FO stays silent. When will they learn?

GameofPhones · 27/02/2026 13:57

Looks as if Amazon have caught on to the downward trend. I was looking for a card with a RF theme for an elderly acquaintance who loves everything RF, but could find hardly anything. The little available was being offered very cheaply (including tins of biscuits and tins of tea).

corblimeyguvnr · 27/02/2026 14:33

Meghan will be wailing " what the heck - I took my jewellery off, wore dowdy clothes and put on a suitable face for most of the trip and we're still getting criticised " 😂

So basically, it's easier to gatecrash a reception at the British Embassy than an audience with the King of Jordan.

The King comes out of this considerably better than the ambassador.

Thedom · 27/02/2026 14:51

Wow, another ‘invite / non invite ’ for the disastrous duo.

But a source with knowledge of the trip has said the British Ambassador had not invited Harry and Meghan to his reception marking Iftar - the meal eaten by Muslims at sunset to break their fast during Ramadan.

The invitation had been to Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO). He had then asked the Duke and Duchess along as his guests, it is understood.

The source insisted that the British Government had not been involved in arranging or facilitating their trip because they are 'private citizens'.

and of course the Markles statement,

The couple had said in their own press release this week: 'At sunset, the Duke and Duchess joined World Health Organisation officials and Embassy staff at the British Ambassador’s residence for Iftar as day one closed with a renewed sense of urgency and resolve.'

Its bad enough going as Tedros +2, but trying to obfuscate it by making a statement so it looks like a personal invite to them. Gotta love how are they are continually exposed for the frauds they are, and things continue to unravel for them !

Yes, every time.

Do we know if this ‘humanitarian visit’ was something Sunshine Sachs would have had a hand in?

AtIusvue · 27/02/2026 14:59

Seen over on Reddit, that’s there’s online chatter about Megs wearing Zara. Seemingly it’s on the boycott list in support of Palestine.
She wore multiple Zara items this trip.

This is why they can’t do these faux royal tours. They need to be aware of things that can cause offence etc….thats what you need the men in grey suits to take care of things…so you’re not putting your foot in it.

I think she is just gathering material, photos, etc for her 'story' - at some point she will be selling it. I don't know why either of them are there....the post it notes looks like a school project.

I wonder if it's content for the "Diana documentary" they are pitching to Netflix - along the lines that H&M are following in Diana's humanitarian footsteps ..... 🙄

Thedom · 27/02/2026 15:14

And there is a snippet of her getting a bottle of water from her assistant to have a drink, during the day, during Ramadan, in a room full of people 🙄🙄. Clueless.
