Royals attending high profile events - business as usual or tone deaf?

Over the past week Charles has been at London Fashion Week, Kate at the rugby and her and William at the BAFTAS. They may have attended other things, I don't know.

These are all very high profile events. the sort of thing my late mum would've described as 'glitzy' so I suppose not the less glam outings, or charity events.
In light of the fact no official statement has gone out from the BP, do you think it's appropriate they're still attending this sort of thing, or it's a bit tone deaf considering the conversations happening about the future of the monarchy, how much Charles already knew about Andrew etc?

Are they using their royal titles on this trip? Surely they will be denouncing them and their children’s titles considering recent events?

Well the Office of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their trip . Apparently it’s an official trip so they will use their titles . As ever.

I bet the rf would love everyone to forget abijt it...what is it the queen said recollections may vary...bet they are using that one for this. Unfortunately for them its all documented and it doesn't get hidden away.

Forever protecting themselves first. Throw anyone else under the bus that threatens them.

They believed him? Or they thought this was the easiest way to make it go away?
I wonder if this was agreed among senior royals or if the queen pulled rank.

Either way, this is shameful and they should apologise, not just quietly hope everyone forgets about it.
