The royal family

Should Beatrice and Eugenie voluntarily give up their titles if they want any public respect ever again?

Just that really.
I think the only possible way forward for them is to choose to give up the princess thing, make a brief public statement in support of victims and to end their middle east business jaunts.

B & E are grifters like their vile Ma & Pa.
The Apple hasn't fallen far from the tree with those two.
They should be stripped of any Royal titles and perks/benefits.

Soozikinzii · 23/02/2026 19:38

Yes they should live abroad with their respective wealthy husbands. I know Charles seems to feel sorry for them but theyve both married wealthy men so can just concentrate on their own families now. We dont want to see them or have anything to do with them . Imho.

TessSaysYes · 23/02/2026 19:39

Why stop there, couldn't they all give up their titles 😫

Erm, I'd be damned if I'd allow my parents issues to interfere with any career I had,so many folks complain that members of the Royal Family don't earn their keep, and yet here are some who actively want two of them to suddenly give up their jobs.....

anonnanonn · 23/02/2026 19:47

We should pity them - they must be going through utter hell, and so publicly.

I am not sure if you’re. Super fan of Harry or misread, I do think they are both driven by greed, and a desire for more money, Harry hasn’t exactly been shy about his desire for that, at no stage did I say he had behaved illegally. I will continue to lump them together when I see a similar undertone to both of their behaviour,

Are you Daily Mail?
The Sun?
The New York Post?

Which rag do you represent hahaha

JuliettaCaeser · 23/02/2026 20:01

It’s not them giving up their “career” though is it? It’s the perks bestowed on them by accident of birth. Which can be taken away. The scales have fallen from my eyes I would get rid of the lot of them. Grifters. The lesser ones are just more obvious about it.

fetchacloth · 23/02/2026 20:12

Beatrice and Eugenie are adults in their own right and haven't broken any laws, so I don't think it's fair that they should be punished for their parents' behaviour.

They are the late queen's granddaughters and haven't done anything wrong have they?. Stop the witch-hunt.

What's been the queen's grandaughers got to do with it......she was the woman who insisted her son got the trade envoy role and used £12m of public money to pay off his victim.
Andrew's daughters have acquired his taste of freebies and questionable wealthy acquaintances....

On multiple forums in the past it was alleged that AMW was touting out the girls, yachting type enterprise I suppose. Since Fergie said one of them was having a sh@going weekend to JE there may be credence to the allegations.

StrikeItMucky · 23/02/2026 20:20

No, of course not!!

nomas · 23/02/2026 20:22

We need a massively slimmed down monarchy and Charles should use this as an excuse to do it.

Beatrice and Eugenie lose their titles and become private citizens like Peter Phillips and Zara Tindall and Prince Edward's children.

And they all lose succession to throne.

Zara is an Olympian. She didn’t achieve that by being a member of the RF.

She achieved it because she has the wealth to pursue an expensive sport. The wealth comes from being a member of the royal family.

This made me giggle. As if it's not a massively elitist sport.

TheRunningRaven · 23/02/2026 20:24

No. Performative repentance means nothing, every individual ought to be judged by their own merit. If they have done something bad, they should be held responsible for it, but judging them for the sins of their parents is ridiculous and incongruent with the rules of our society. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Can wealthy young people not be groomed. Which right minded parent would take their daughters to see a sex offender/trafficker?

Interesting, but there have been loads of threads on here over the years about people whose family members bring a pedophile into an event, and they are always excoriated if they do not remove themselves. No matter their ages.

I think they were at a disadvantage with the parents that they had - it would be remarkable if they were not affected by the lack of moral compass. And to be honest, I am not sure their parents were doing something that others in the family were not doing - just in a more blatant and stupid way. But both girls have had money given by dodgy individuals and I dont think they can claim to be completely innocent.

Partypants83 · 23/02/2026 20:32

I think these women are mucky.
They are old enough to have distanced themselves from their parents' dodgy dealings but haven't done so.
I'd take their titles away but I doubt they will be and I'm sure they won't surrender them.

This is true but all the money in the world can’t make you an Olympian if you don’t have the talent in the first place, and the public didn’t seem to have a problem with her considering she won BBC sports personality of the year for her achievements.

yes, eugenie and Beatrice did. William pays tax in the duchy of Cornwall. The king pays tax on his interest and income etc.

Charles and William voluntarily pay some tax. There is no transparency about how much or what part of their income they are paying it on. The voluntary arrangement began after the fire at Windsor Castle in 1993, when there was an outcry at the costs potentially coming out of the public purse. As a result the Queen ‘graciously agreed’ (official wording) to pay some tax.

It is farcical. And it is part of our culture of deference that allowed Andrew to get away with appalling behaviour for so long.

🙄 No, but it’s eye opening and it’s frustrating when people say Beatrice and Eugenie are innocent when they’re really not. I wish I was the author because I wish I knew everything else that he knows that he couldn’t put in the book.

He, like all authors, write books that sell.

I wouldn't trust any word of an author who is paid based on sale

No! They've done F All wrong.

B collaborated with Ferg on presenting Epstein as a penitent who'd done his time.

Edited

Absolutely agree!

Sharptonguedwoman · 23/02/2026 20:40

Andrew’s poor behaviour is hardly their fault.

MeinKraft · 23/02/2026 20:41

The royal family should be Charles, Camilla and his sons and their children and wives. That’s plenty. Every other princess, duke, earl and viscount etc can get yeeted and give us our land back while they’re at it.
