Why does Harry need to announce his visit to Canada ?

Harry has announced he will visit Canada for Invictus events .
The announcement is made while the POW is in Brazil undertaking important official business including representing KC at COP.
His spokesperson says the announcement had to be made at short notice for security reasons !
If this non working royal has security concerns , why announce it at all ?

I suppose it would make a change from the same small number of posters rehashing why Harry is a terrible awful human being, but I'm not actually interested in W's little trip, just a bit surprised that on a royalty board no one else is either.

We also now know that with a “swipe of a pen” we can get rid of all the money grabbing workshy grifters who are only interested in protecting their image.

No it would be a huge undertaking to dismantle a constitutional monarchy, not impossible but certainly not with the swipe of a pen, Harry’s titles on the other hand….. easy peasy!

The point isn’t that they’re starting a thread on the RF board about the RF, of course that’s normal. It’s the not understanding the irony of saying ‘why are they announcing this when no one cares’ or similar when they care enough to start a thread and then all the posters agreeing and saying no one cares- when they clearly do care. It’s bonkers.

Nothing to do with Andrew or Harry “dishing the dirt” it’s all about William getting rid of the hangers on like Harry and Meghan and making a more modern monarchy for the future, titles only for royals who represent our country and government going forward hopefully.

Because charities want him to! He is a patron/supporter/involved in charities because, whether you like it or not, his name still gets headlines. Which means the charity gets headlines. If he is attending an event for any charity, or traveling for any charity, it will be announced for the publicity because that’s the whole point of having Harry’s name associated with your charity.

He’s not a working royal anymore, but their names being associated with charities is still for the same reason.

Or maybe it’s all about W keeping his children in the position that they are in. They will be the hangers on of the future the dreaded spares x2.
