Is Meghan a narcissist?

I keep seeing these reels and social media smears on Meghan being a narcissist and abusive partner to Harry. She certainly doesn't seem overly popular with the royal family or understood the expectations of her as a royal when she married him.

I'm by no means a royalist or a fan of Megan's. But I'm the same age as Harry so always felt I could relate a little to him. I haven't read his book or watched the netflix docs.

The main thing that doesn't sit quite right for me is they wanted a 'private life' and then done anything but. Did Megan use Harry's desire for privacy to isolate him from his family and friends?

Maybe she couldn’t wangle an invitation to any other show ?
She was at a vegan dinner for “ women who own their power” in LA yesterday .
No, me neither …..

I hear there’s someone opening an envelope somewhere, I imagine she will invite herself there as well.

Yes, and he totally blew her inflated pretentious statement out of the water, and so publicly.

The statement Meghan issued to the media

They have worked closely together collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage.

This evening reflects the culmination of many years of artistry and friendship, reflected in her support for his new creative chapter at Balenciaga."’

Pierpaulo’s comments in The Cut interview

“Meghan and I met some years ago, and we’ve been texting ever since.

She reached out and said she’d love to come to the show.

😂

What a chasm between both statements, and people ask why Meghan is so disliked and why so many believe she is a narcissist!!!

Indeed! Meghan is an absolute idiot, what was she thinking!! she’s literally saying she and PPP have been working together to create the clothing - typical of her to steal someone else’s glory, I’m so pleased he’s given her a public ‘fuck off with your lies’ by literally saying she asked for an invite and we have texted a few times … perhaps she’s pestered him by text to build up to her clambering up his legs to step on his head and grab the glory … she’s been publicly outed and shamed by being called a grifter and she still continues!! What a dick

She had a great outfit on. She looked really good in it in LA and there was lots of positive press.

Wish I could link the pic but it won't work.. It's a cream leather (or vegan pleather) skirt and cream blouse. Just the sort of outfit that suits her.

Meghan is the absolute epitome of ‘fake it till you make it’. Unfortunately for her nothing seems to be an success so she moves onto something else.
Clearly this week it’s fashion.

I think the LA outfit is okay. I think it’s a bit boring. It is very VB but that’s a look she has been sticking to for years and her signature style now.
She needs to do something original to stand out and dump the neutrals.

The comment is reminiscent of Dr Jane Goodall.

She clarified that the press reports of her being "best friends" with the couple were "absolutely stupid" as she had only met them three times. When she recently died she might therefore have been surprised to hear Meghan and Harry released a statement saying”“Dr. Jane Goodall DBE was a visionary humanitarian, scientist, friend to the planet, and friend to us …She held our son, Archie, when he was first born, and showered love and care to those who were privileged to know her”.

More lies then.

Forget about the clothes, what did you make of her obfuscating her way through the questions?

And how does your, "Leave her alone, why must she be criticised" schtick square with the nature of the event? A panel of the most powerful women? Women who can presumably shape society, consumer habits, entertainment, journalism, politics, all of those things, potentially. Do you think any woman named "the most powerful" in any sphere that affects society should be allowed to go uncriticised?

jumpingthehighjump · 17/10/2025 15:58

Would you please link to my post that says she cannot be criticised indianroller. You do like to make stuff up.
It's odd. But I suppose me saying she looked nice in an outfit made you angry or something.

I would love to know who the audience consisted of listening to this drivel.

jumpingthehighjump · 17/10/2025 16:16

Why am I rude for asking you to link where I posted that there should never be any criticism of Meghan?

You stated that. I asked you to substantiate that. Surmising something is not making it fact.

I think both her and Harry have done some things wrong. They have exacerbated a situation at times. They can act like a couple of tits, they certainly aren't perfect. But sometimes the criticism I see is way out of control. I only posted that I liked her outfit! I am glad you did too, if not the skirt.

I have read and re-read my post and there is no rudeness in it. I don't think it's bullshit that she was on that panel.

Indianrollerbird · 17/10/2025 16:32

"You do like to make stuff up" implies pattern of behaviour that you will not have observed or even surmised from my postings, so yes, that is rude. Your friend, Spectre tried that line too on this thread, and was proven to be wrong - she was the one making things up (about the Balenciaga scandal) and I am still waiting for an apology.

I apologise to you for implying you think she is above criticism. I think you have an excessive need to defend her in the face of the indefensible.

So MM's place on the panel/at the event is not bullshit in your view. I therefore assume you accept she has power, and, as all powerful people should be, open to scrutiny to the fullest. There's nothing out of control about holding truth to power, is there.

I like quite a lot of Meghan's outfits, but I don't like others. The black number she wore in Paris was gorgeous. The white one was awful. I liked a lot of her outfits on WLM - the blue halter dress she wore at the end of Part 1 of the series at the garden party was stunning. I have a similar difficult body shape (disproportionately short torso, broad shoulders, long legs), so I know how hard it can be to dress well and photograph well, even when very slim.

Thank you. And that's just an opinion of yours but hey that's fine.
What you may find indefensible, I may not. That's the nature of opinions of course. We've all got 'em!
I don't have friends on here, I am just a loner! No one knows me and I don't know them!

Yes, I think she has power of sorts. She is one of the most talked about women on both sides of the Atlantic, so that is power.

I agree with you on the outfits. Some I love, some I hate! I did love the cream skirt and blouse because it's my sort of style and I used to wear a lot like that until I put on weight 🤣
