Is Meghan a narcissist?

I keep seeing these reels and social media smears on Meghan being a narcissist and abusive partner to Harry. She certainly doesn't seem overly popular with the royal family or understood the expectations of her as a royal when she married him.

I'm by no means a royalist or a fan of Megan's. But I'm the same age as Harry so always felt I could relate a little to him. I haven't read his book or watched the netflix docs.

The main thing that doesn't sit quite right for me is they wanted a 'private life' and then done anything but. Did Megan use Harry's desire for privacy to isolate him from his family and friends?

It’s not about what you see. It’s about what these kids will think in later life about how their parents used their images and the noise surrounding that use (which is global, whether you are aware of it or not, because that’s the entire point of the internet and social media).

It’s pretty clear H&M’s mental health messaging is not getting through to their supporters. It’s about the feelings of the children being used, not your feelings or what you think you can see.

Meghan started all the mystery with the birth of Archie - lying about when she gave birth, keeping him hidden etc only revealing him with Desmond Tutu. It's all a game to Meghan.

Yes of course as parents you sgoumd be deciding what images and videos of your children to want to share and how and what your boundaries on privacy are and what that means. For one person it wi mean never sharing anything online, to another it will be okay ill share but my acount is set to private and only those people i know, for others it might ne sharing backs of kids heads.

We all know the parent who letd their kid play first shooter ganes, or has all manner of social media accounts and exposed to content they shouldnt be. Parental controls only go so far.

The kids must get out and about though. Do they go to pre school? Do they have days out? Go to other kids’ houses for play dates? To the supermarket with their parents? Beach? play park? Doctor? Doria’s house? Cinema?

It’s amazing there haven’t been any photos of them anywhere. How do they stop people taking photos ( normal people, not paps necessarily) Surely the kids leave the house from time to time?

People give kids privacy. We never see photos of any celebrity/royal offspring doing normal things. Only photos with official photographers at set up photo shoots such as film premiers or badminton horse trials (or wherever it is we see Zara Phillips' kids with their cousins).

You are right in these comments but there is the other side of this and this is what some are commenting on - letting your child be on sm in any shape or form. Many parents do not allow their children to be seen on sm at all in case of misuse of the images. You would think that Meghan would do this - instead she is opening her children up to masses of crazies on sm saying things like Archie has a problem, why are the children always in pjs, they are not the same children in subsequent photos etc etc. I have no idea why she would do this unless it is to keep the interest going .
One day these children will see all of this. It also encourages the crazies that are out there to try to get photos for big bucks or worse.
It goes against all that they preach and against Harry's constant barraging of the uk courts for security .

And before she shared these pics on her instagram...there are plenty here who still made comments about her kids, how they are never seen so they must never go anywhere how awful they dont get out an about and on and on, endless speculation on what they look like and why there have been no pics and must be because she doesnt take them anywhere because someone must of take pictures if they had been in public.

So you see when she wasnt her kids were still attracting the crazies. So well makes no difference if a few things are now shared except now those same people bash her doing so...cant do anything right....bashed either way

I disagree. Harry said he made himself a target by talking about Taliban kills. It is his number one thing - safety. Her and him allowing this is sheer stupidity.

The other thing is it doesn't really matter what people on mn or other places SAY - it's the target she makes them by the teasing.

Whatever she does people are going to comment negatively so she may as well try and control the narrative a little. Most people would reach this conclusion in her shoes I think.

Besides, neither Harry or Meghan at any point said they wanted to leave the Royal family to go and live under a rock and never come out.

As I said the moment they were born the crazies were there, we have all seen the ridiculous commenrs about her pregnancy, her bump, are the kids even real etc ..... so basically she shouldnt of had kids then cos by having them she made them a target...

Listen to yourself, seriously...would you tell a woman who was groped that she made herself a target cos she wore a short skirt or a low cut top or whatever?

She’s not really controlling the narrative though, is she. Unless the plan was actually not to be IPPs and global humanitarians living a life of service while collaborating with the Queen, but instead to be derided as a fucking grifter / a grief tourist / outed as a bully / mocked by South Park / compared to Zoolander / forced to apologise for lying to the court / seen fucking up the business so publicly and with popularity tanking. She is nothing really, except a figure of ridicule and joke fodder for the talk show hosts. If that’s really what Meghan wanted then hats off to her but I doubt it very much.

Do you think she actually has the perception to see this herself? I don’t. I think she genuinely thinks she’s absolutely alamazingly successful and marvellous. She seems to have completely limitless self belief. Someone who is completely deluded about herself and her husband, who refuses to accept reality. She’s a figure of fascination for this alone.

well I have never seen a photo of the wales kids when they are doing that suff either. so don't really get your point.

Those with that limitless self belief, especially when that’s coupled with status money & looks, can fool most people especially in person & go a long way to achieving heart’s desire.

Many miss I think quite how hard that role in Suits will have been to come by. The early signs were there.

I completely agree, she seems detached from the reality of who she is, how she comes across, what she can and can’t do, what other people value, what it takes to be successful and how success is generally measured. That awful podcast that tanked and lasted one season - imagine accepting an award for “shows devoted to or hosted by notable business leaders and entrepreneurs who have had an unique and outsized impact on culture through their podcast”. After the series of fuck ups that is her business. It’s simultaneously fascinating and uncomfortable to watch.

I’m sure she thinks any negativity towards her comes from jealousy and/or racism and/or stuffy old forelock-tugging Brits who love the RF and can’t forgive them for leaving. It couldn’t possibly be because of her behaviour, because she never does anything wrong, never makes a mistake, nothing is ever her or Harry’s fault. It’s so extreme that either they don’t realise how transparent they are, or how unattractive, or they can’t fake even a tiny bit of humility and self-deprecation. And don’t even get me started on the hypocrisy. She seems so desperate for attention and validation, yet doesn’t seem to have that inner voice that says - well I can’t do that - I can’t use my children on social media and lecture others about online safety for children - I can’t bully staff to the point where they need professional mental health support and do panel discussions about bullying - people will think I’m an idiot and a hypocrite if I do. (Of course even better would be not to do these things because she gives a shit about other people but hey ho.)
