What to make of this??

I'm hoping this will end up being a bit of a non story. I could imagine H has sent "his people" over to speak to his father's people. But I think H has made his own problem with OW , docuseries , Spare and the BBC interview inter alia. Not being in that milieu myself I don't know how you extend an apology or a sincere wish for reconciliation when you have pretty much adopted a scorched earth policy. But H must have options. Aunty Anne - if you dare? There must be ways of him contacting his father . A letter ? The fact the new head of Sussex PR is involved makes me sceptical about H's motives ( or maybe just he's just lost the plot when it comes to his family)

I feel like I'm the only one who really doesn't give a fuck about the Royal family. Anyone else?

I think there’s crisis going on with Harry and so the Kings rep has agreed to meeting with Harry’s staff.

This meeting happened on Wednesday. This was during the State visit by Macron, where the King and his staff are obviously very busy.
And yet, the Kings comms is taking a meeting with Liam and Meredith? I think this was a last min thing arranged because theres a crisis at home and Harry’s team reached out.

The DM said Meredith was in the UK to meet Harry’s UK team…..yeh that’s just Liam,
there’s no one else. She flew over all this way just to met with the Kings rep onviously. Otherwise it would be Liam flying out to her.

In addition:

• After Harry lost the security case, he gave the BBC interview where he clearly wasn’t right
• The last time we seen him was that public forum thing- he looked rough and his speech seemed affected
• Hes gone awol
• Even Megs is just putting out stock photos and videos. There’s been nothing that we def know that’s happened recently since Disneyland
• The wine launch was very quiet. We haven’t seen Meg make a video thanking her fans- it’s all been reels of nano influencers and Meg writing a message in response. We haven’t actually seen her either. Which is super weird with all this wine stuff going on.
• No new family pics (even just with the back of the kids heads) for the 4th July.
• She’s dropped the podcast cause she’s busy, she’s also not updated her Shopmy page in months, so that’s over. All she’s doing right now is writing messages on insta and releasing stock images. She too has gone awol.

I think Meg is dealing with a crisis at home with Harry. To be fair to Meg, Harry does seem like a moody nightmare to deal with.

Also we know that it was Harry’s camp that leaked because they are the only ones to gain from this. Harry has been open that the King won’t take his calls but Harry just wants to move on. He said that in his last interview. The source in the DM says ‘everybody just wants to move on’. No, that’s not true- it’s only Harry that want to move on. After he destroyed the trust with his family by selling them out . He is now facing the reality and the consequences and he obviously can’t deal with it.
Seems the security case was the last straw.
Harry need to feel and let the world know that he isn’t rejected. He wants a the narrative to be that they’ve all moved on. He probably also wants his kids to understand his royal world. At the moment they live on a Hollywood world where one of the kids godfathers is being sued for $$$$$$$$$ for sexual assault. Plus he wants security arranged. They can’t afford it, with the way they spend.

How do you know they don't have money?

Am mostly joking about selling jams and honey but you don't know if they haven't invested their money wisely or have other income sources they don't publicize

That’s on the money I think. All the media speculation about Harry having invited his father to Invictus is clearly all being pushed by Harry’s team too. They want it to look like Harry is being the bigger person. As if. It’s almost a form of blackmail , in that he wants his father to look bad if he doesn’t attend so Harry can cast himself as a victim again. His charities are mired in controversy, there is a lot of dubious stuff that they are associated with , they are running out of money.
If it’s true that Doria has stopped living with them and acting as free childcare that may have caused them both to spiral. They are so isolated now , living in their fake bubble. Meanwhile Harry is seeing his family on TV constantly, looking very much united.

No. He said it was for this moment (them fleeing for freedom, without having your family sell you out to quash scandal). His feelings are valid (don't we say that on mumsnet) regardless of our opinions on them and the ageing queen's varying recollection

Yeah, I think it's more likely to be that than 'reconciliation'. There would be no need to get staff involved if it were a purely family matter.

I think Harry is now finally realising this is it for him. He's on his own, has no stable income stream and nothing in the pipeline. His bill for the failed Judicial Review alone will be well into the hundreds of thousands and his next legal case isn't looking great either. Harry never had to think about money. Now he does.

The ‘source’ saying they all want to move on.

They are trying to rehabilitate Harry’s image and can only do that, is if he seems to make amends with his dad.

Oh OK. Well may be he isn't using that. We are all speculating about his income. May be he has shares in Meta, Google or some amazing investments. May be he gets lots of help from friends like Perry did. May be the Netflix money. May be Netflix have adopted this poor , technically, asylum seeker. May be Trump adopted him (he felt sorry for him didn't he?). It's all speculation!

During the OW interview, Harry said that they wouldn't have been able to afford their freedom flight (and setting themselves up abroad) if it hadn't been for his inheritance from his mum but that he'd earmarked that money for the kids and the RF had cut him off so he needed to quickly make money by signing mega bucks deals with Netflix and Spotify.

Charles is riding on a wave of goodwill inherited from the late Queen. He has done a good job so far, he may be complacent about what he can get past the public. In the words of Julia Roberts, Big mistake. Big. Huge.

It's obvious that this was put out and all the details leaked by the Sussexes to the DM. This shows their desperation to be relevant. It possibly was a meeting about Invictus in the UK who knows.. I would bet my last Malteser that it was NOT about anything serious but as usual there's the hinting, the suggesting that has been typical of the Sussexes since the start. They are devious and not to be trusted.
