This board...why won't Meghan and Harrg just go live quietly and shut up. Today...why have they gone quiet...

So yeah they will never do anything right by some odds you, they go quiet and you still complain, they dont and you have a field day about it too.

Invictus 27 is at the same time as Camilla’s 80th birthday celebrations. Good excuse for Charles not to attend.

@spectre8 we're not a hive mind. I'm one of the people who said M has been quieter than I'd expect given that I think the wine represents a real way forward for her but I haven't said they should just shut up. I have, in the past (not recently) said that I felt the path to true happiness, for H especially, is a quiet, peaceful life.

I notice that the photographer for this secret summit in a discreet building was Steve Burton . Unless there is another one , Steve is based in NY . What luck he happened to be passing !
If the meeting happened on Wednesday, why wait until Saturday to drop the photos ?

I don't think Charles is the pushover some say he is. I'm sure on some level he would love to be reconciled with his son but he knows Harry and his wife cannot be trusted. People were saying he'd invite Harry back as soon as he became King but instead in his very first speech he wished Harry well 'in his life overseas'. I don't see any prospect of an official 'reconciliation'.

The meeting was on Wednesday but has only been leaked after the Princess of Wales’ appearance at Wimbledon yesterday. She received such a warm reception and a standing ovation. I know who I would bet my money on who leaked this and it isn’t the RF. Also interesting timing after yesterday’s story of the disclosure ruling which makes Harry and his legal counsel look very dodgy indeed.

The fact that this meeting was held where it was is also interesting. @BemusedAmerican could be bang on the money. This meeting could have very well been a test of trust. They’ve certainly blown that if so!

Yeh, we don’t know what but there’s def something up. Meg just keeps posting stock images, which could have been taken at anytime in the last year.

10 days ago she put up this pic on her As ever insta. It’s clearly from the same photoshoot she had for People or images she gave to People for a March weekly cover. So we know the image is at least 4 months old but I suspect it’s older.

She isn’t putting up anything new and hasn’t really for the last 4 weeks. Something is def up at home.

It’s all just old photos and generic fridge magnet quotes. She’s messaging the nano influencers who are promoting As ever products, but who is to say that it’s her?

There have been rumblings about a Spare 2 (Still Spare) and maybe the rep is suggesting that a generous stipend from Charles might put Harry’s latest truths on the back burner…

It won't be 'latest ', truth or otherwise. It's more than five years since they 'found freedom'. Anything he has to say will be very old news.

Invictus isn't Harry's personal property, to be used for his own PR, much as he and M seem to think otherwise. The movement is in danger of being discredited, due to them making it all about them.

Neither are the King's public engagements planned around what H wants.

Harry’s legal team are being made to disclose details of payments (or other influences) to witnesses in the case against Associated.

“I am satisfied that documents, held by the claimants, that can support a case that a witness has been paid or offered other inducement for their evidence (whether directly or indirectly) should be disclosed. That is because there is a real prospect that Associated will be able to rely upon this evidence to attack the credibility of such witnesses.”

Not sure it’s that. I think Harry is fed up of Cali celeb fake life. Why would any man, who had to escape his racist family to flee to the other side of the world…:want reconciliation with them?

And when Kate was taking pictures from the nature video or her past, why didn't you say the same? Did you question if something is up with her at her home? No of course you didn't

If any of this is true at all - and it wouldn't be the first time a kite got flown to gauge public reaction - I'm surprised it's all being made about Harry when he happens to be marrried with a family

She used the same photos from her People cover ….which is from March!

Why isn’t she doing videos or new photos to promote her wine that sold out? She’s gone AWOL.

I’ve told you why I think she’s not putting anything out herself……that’s she’s having to deal with Harry.

Absolutely @OlympicWomen and @AtIusvue Some posters have short memories.
Everything Catherine put out during her cancer treatment was scrutinised and picked apart by people. Even Chris Ship questioned the flowers in one of the photos or videos. It even lead to the kill notice of the Mother’s Day photo.

It was absolutely appalling, @MummyJ12 . The threads on here were vile, and William and Kate were subject to extreme levels of scrutiny.

On a personal level, I think anyone would want to see an increasingly elderly man (Charles is 76) having at least a cordial relationship with his children and grandchildren. That is probably a separate issue from two brothers having a relationship with each other. Whether Charles can get past the awful things Harry said in his book and they both said/inferred in their Oprah interview is a matter for Charles.

From a "Royal Family" point of view, Harry has made his point very clear - he does not want any part of life as a working royal. He's burned his bridges and even before the move to the USA, it was always obvious that Charles and William preferred the idea of a slimmed down monarchy and that as William's children grew up, married and potentially had children of their own, Harry and his children would become as irrelevant as Beatrice and Eugenie are now. I also think the strength of feeling against him from the British public would not make any return easy.

Harry attacked one of the people Charles loves the most and that is Camilla. I very much doubt he is a pushover. Charles can see the future of the monarchy and that is William and Catherine.

I wondered at the timing, and if that suggests Charles /the Palace had a hand in leaking this and then requesting it was sat on until the weekend.

Charles gets to let William know he’s being more welcoming to Harry without having to have an awkward conversation with William about it.
