TBH, I doubt Charles is a very involved grandaddy, I imagine he is the kind who sees them every now and then, enjoys his time with them but isn't pining to see them, especially kids he has not seen for years and has spent no time with at all. I don't imagine he is Michael Middleton grandfather material.

What I want to know is, if Meghan and Harry want a normal life for their children, why do they have a head of household? It’s like Harry trying to recreate his life with the royals but in a different place.

If Harry was any kind of son , he wouldn’t have lied and attacked his father and family and then expect anything from them at all !

Why would Charles “want to see his grandchildren before he died?” If he is nearing the end of his life (I sincerely hope not) why would meeting two children he doesn’t know be any kind of priority?

He already has family around him who love and support him. He doesn’t need the drama Harry brings.

It's a fact and a truth that Harry and Meghans' camp leaked it. The proof will be revealed at a later date, it always is !

No it isn't. That doesn't stop Harry spilling it everywhere, does it? He needs to show that he can keep his gob shut if he seriously wants to be a part of the family again.

If you've got to send in staff that a pretty big sign that any meaningful reconciliation is along way off. It's like solicitors only handing a divorce because their clients can't be in the same room. Charles may want to be in the life of his son but he's also Camilla's husband, William's father and Catherine FIL all of whom Harry would happily use as fodder for his next rant. Camilla especially, Harry has pure hatred for her.

I am viewing this as a meeting of the lieutenants of two organized crime families (no offense to the RF. If you ever watched "You've Got Mail" you will know that Tom Hanks's character sees everything through the lens of the first two Godfather movies. I'm adopting that mindset). It's Tony's private club. He knows the inside is secure. It's just him, in this secure position, meeting with 2 of H's latest flunkies.

The balcony meeting could have been a test. Will H's people pull in the press, the same way H ran to the press right after he last saw Charles? If they did tip off the press, then they obviously haven't changed, and BP now knows it.

Charles has three choices.

1. Treat Harry like Fredo in Vegas, where he is watched and controlled and essentially babied.

1. Completely cut Harry off and treat him as though he were dead. No contact, no money, just greyrock. Let Harry face the consequences of his actions.

1. Dump everything onto William.
