Harry says his kids mental health was affected by Sun story linking him to P Diddy.

Just what planet is he on? Why on earth would his kids mental health be affected by this?

The kids clearly know nothing about the story or who P Diddy is. If he is saying that his bad mental health has then affected his children….then he needs to stop reading stories about himself! Ffs, what a twat.

Harry claimed that the article and others published by the Sun and the Sun on Sunday had “a hugely negative impact on his mental health and that of his wife and children”.

Prince Harry accused the Sun of printing story linking him to P Diddy out of revenge

Exclusive: court documents reveal Harry claimed front page story and other articles had ‘hugely negative impact on his mental health and that of his wife and children’

Also funny they posted the tagline Our Sun for Archie's birthday if around that same time they are all traumatised by The Sun.

Won't his dc be also traumatised when they see the photos of harry in Vegas? I believe the Mirror's headline was Harry's naked romp 😂

It puts the Insta caption ‘Our son, the Sun’ into a somewhat different context.

re. this quote from the article:

”NGN has published in the Sun or Sun on Sunday a large number of false and highly derogatory articles about the DoS plainly in retaliation, including articles that suggested he has somehow ‘betrayed’ his family, has ‘lied’ about them to garner sympathy, is a ‘traitor’ to his country and, perhaps most damaging of all, has been named in a high-profile sex-trafficking case.”
The claim went on to allege that the articles put such a “strain on his relationship with the royal family that he was forced to leave the institution and relocate to North America, leaving behind all that he knew and held dear”.”

Maybe if Harry didn’t want newspapers reporting about his lies and betrayal he shouldn’t have lied and betrayed his family 🤷‍♀️ of course it’s never Harry’s fault though!

BemusedAmerican · 17/05/2025 11:07

The P. Diddy filing with that quote didn't come out until 2024. I read the online court document as did lots of other people. H was already in the US and on bad terms with his family.

I have never seen The Sun in print for sale in the US. Maybe H has an online subscription. In general , it's really hard to find a print newspaper. I know if of only 1 store that sells them in my neighborhood.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 17/05/2025 12:17

Many thanks for the synopsis, @randyredhumpback; I hadn't seen the judge's criticisms about what seems a fishing expedition, but it's horribly reminiscent of last time and suggests this particular lawyer thinks it a suitable MO

That said I'm aware that such cases are decided on the "balance of probabilities", and that if Harry can prove some UIG it could carry a case for him, but with his credibility in shreds it hardly seems to matter any more

Once a reputation's trashed it can be very hard to recover and so far there appears very little to build on

HiRen · 17/05/2025 12:22

“a hugely negative impact on his mental health and that of his wife and children”.

I think this means the appearance of the article was stressful to Harry and Meghan, who were consequently short and jumpy around their DC, who cried and got clingy, behaviour which the parents couldn’t handle at that particular moment because they were so stressed out…. I think this is about “it’s not enough to survive, right, you want to thrive”. He believes it’s his human right to have no negative emotions, to lead a positive and enlightened and happy life at all times, that anything that prevents that from happening is such heinous behaviour he’d litigate over it. That anyone and anything that stops him from being anything but positivity and sunshine and freedom, is out to get him - that he’s persecuted, hounded, hunted. Just like his mum. Because he won’t take responsibility for himself and manage his emotions and reactions and deal with the outside world, it’s a natural conclusion that the world is out to get him.

The article in question appeared in 2024. How can it have been responsible for him leaving the UK and everything he holds dear?

He has the resilience of tissue paper and the emotional intelligence of a newborn baby. He’s surrounded by people who want something from him. He must be fucking miserable as sin, on a daily basis.

FenellaFeldman · 17/05/2025 12:27

In a nutshell, @HiRen . However, their decision to leave the UK and the RF is frequently weaponised by him, in various guises.
It's all yet more evidence of his tenuous grasp of the truth.

RandyRedHumpback · 17/05/2025 12:32

Miserable as sin or a manipulative liar whose actions don't match his words? Certainly his wife's portrayal of their blissful, honeymoon life completely counters the misery he's seeking to convey. Which one of them is telling the truth?

FenellaFeldman · 17/05/2025 12:37

I think we know, @RandyRedHumpback . Just as we may have an idea why Harry was knocking on doors in West London at 6am.
Honeymoon my arse.

HiRen · 17/05/2025 12:39

Well, tbf she said SHE was more in the honeymoon period now than when they got married. That’s probably true. She’s got what she wanted: she’s back home, with money and titles, in control of her life (and his) and hugely famous. Wasn’t that what she always wanted?

I don’t think Harry is clever enough to manipulate to a reach his goal. I think he’s emotional and vengeful, and everything flows from those two things. He bends the truth, lies, has selective memory recall etc etc - but all this is just how he is. I don’t think he’s clever enough to deploy these tactics only at certain beneficial times.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 17/05/2025 12:51

Miserable as sin or a manipulative liar whose actions don't match his words?

Why not both, @randyredhumpback?
After all the second can all too easily lead to the first if the subject hasn't the wit to tailor his actions appropriately and is understandably called out on them

Very obviously Harry - like his few remaining fans - wants no comments that aren't positive, but sadly for him that's not how life works

TheNinkyNonkyIsATardis · 17/05/2025 12:57

I know the ChatGPT stuff is aimed at laughing at H&M, but I think it's a step too far to make it write about the kids as the main subject.

Also - surely he lied and betrayed his family after he left, so how could newspaper reports of him lying and betraying his family have “forced” him to leave? Plus the Diddy allegations only came out last year didn’t they? So they are nothing to do with him leaving.

How many more reasons for flouncing is this dimwit going to come up with, I wonder?

FenellaFeldman · 17/05/2025 13:02

Plus, how much ammunition does he want to give people to confirm that he is a terrible parent, after all his accusations against KC?!

NormaMajors1992coat · 17/05/2025 13:04

Oh sorry just seen this point has been made by PPs. He’s honestly beyond a joke now, so far removed from reality. He’s like a toddler having an epic tantrum in the supermarket, the RF are calmly ignoring him and carrying on with their weekly shop, and the rest of us are casting sympathetic glances in their direction when crossing paths in the freezer aisle.

CatsWhiskerz · 17/05/2025 13:07

6am? That's a detail I missed. It makes the whole story even more worrying.

It's just so odd. I can only think either - he thinks we're as stupid as he is, or the drugs have taken their toll.

To be fair to him, he said that since issuing his claim in September 2019, there were numerous stories which led to him leaving. He doesn’t claim that about the Combs story specifically.

To be fair to him, he lies so frequently, he probably loses track.

He's feeding Meghan's image that she is the main one in their children's lives and he's too daft to see it.

CatHairEveryWhereNow · 17/05/2025 14:21

Maybe he re-write histroy in his head and belives his new truth - have relatives who do this and they do surpingly convience many people of their version mostly as people usually don't care that much and just accept it - or when people do argue back get no where as they are so sure they are right against all evidence.

Or he's so arrogant knows he lying but assumes he so unassaliable that people do not point it out - and in day to day life and even many interviews that's what happens. Wider than that thoug people take the piss.

Meghan I think gets caught out as in her field in earlier life bigging up CV and exagerating anecdotes for public consuption were pretty much expected - but then her role changed and her audience changed and the scrutiny levels went though the roof and she didn't adjust well. It where listening to RF and palace PR people could have made a difference.
