Harry says his kids mental health was affected by Sun story linking him to P Diddy.

Just what planet is he on? Why on earth would his kids mental health be affected by this?

The kids clearly know nothing about the story or who P Diddy is. If he is saying that his bad mental health has then affected his children….then he needs to stop reading stories about himself! Ffs, what a twat.

Harry claimed that the article and others published by the Sun and the Sun on Sunday had “a hugely negative impact on his mental health and that of his wife and children”.

Prince Harry accused the Sun of printing story linking him to P Diddy out of revenge

Exclusive: court documents reveal Harry claimed front page story and other articles had ‘hugely negative impact on his mental health and that of his wife and children’

If he’s letting them read The Sun then I think there are bigger issues at play 😬

And that's a bazinga!
Do you think they get it delivered and scour the pages seeking suing ops. . Or hoping to be front page?
It's all very Lloyd-Webber Evita...
"You don't care if they love you, it's been done before... you'll despair if they hate you"...

LadyGaGasPokerFace · 16/05/2025 21:46

Seems like he’s after compo again 🙄 honestly, wasn’t he supposed to disappear into oblivion with his privacy and never heard of again? The constant suing everyone who dare breathe near him is pathetic.

Feetinthegrass · 16/05/2025 21:51

AmeliaHarbottle · 16/05/2025 21:38

Well, obviously he isn’t.

He might well be, it can take many months to stabilise patients and I can’t bring myself to comment on this latest unravelling as it is extremely sad to watch.

The article is based on some court filings from the case he settled against the Sun a few months back. I wonder how the Guardian got hold of those, as I'm assuming they are not on the public record.

We are yet to be treated to the trial in his case against the DM. That's next year, I think. His hirsute, fellow dragon slayer barrister was told off in court the week before last for essentially fishing for evidence, rather than forming a case on evidence he actually has.

Ihad2Strokes · 16/05/2025 21:54

RandyRedHumpback · 16/05/2025 19:04

Well the Sun story was accurate. Sensational headline apart, they set out exactly what was in the PDiddy accuser's filing, and clarified that Harry had not been accused of doing anything wrong in the court papers.

If Harry is exposing his children to any of this - what were they then, 5 and 3 - then that's absolutely shocking. It's his job to protect them from parental worries, not pile it on them too. Seriously, can he sink any lower?

This!!

MaryGreenhill · 16/05/2025 21:56

He needs to put a sock in it

The man is CHIMPO of a mental health organization earning $1m a year to preach mental health to others. He is in no position to be lecturing anyone on mental health if, 5 years after "freedom" from the RF, after all his cathartic "tell all" vehicles, and with his wife crowing about them being in the honeymoon stage, he's filing this sort of emotive stuff in court documents. But here's where I don't believe him. I don't think he is mentally struggling/scared, not to the extent he makes out. I think he lays it on thick to garner sympathy and elicit guilty feelings and a sense of obligation from the RF/press/court/public when he sees fit, as he was doing in that BBC interview the other week.

It's all about staying in the headlines.

He’s such a tool. Does he really think anyone believes that Lillibet is sat reading the Sun over breakfast at Monticito Manor?

It’s comments such this being the reason why I continue to read the comment sections.

Thank you!

Perhaps Megan emailed the kids a link to The Sun website as part of her daily emails to her own children!

Or wrote them a little note that she popped in their lunchbox with gloopy paper pasta stuff

Yes quite. He had to settle and wasn't able to have his day in court. So is he now leaking details of legal submissions that were never heard on record, in order try the case in the court of public opinion?

FenellaFeldman · 16/05/2025 22:29

Yes. Also it just highlights his imperious attitude - he can sell all manner of private details and nasty gossip about his family, but no-one is allowed to print anything negative about him.

TheAutumnCrow · 16/05/2025 22:31

I have questions, questions.

When exactly did Harry submit this allegation to the court?

Has he ever had a Sun-induced tantrum or some sort of episode at home that upset his wife and children and made them sad / scared / intimidated?

How did the Guardian obtain this document, and when?

Does Harry understand how this makes him look as a father?

ninjahamster · 16/05/2025 22:34

I agree it’s a bit far fetched, but I can see that if he and Meghan were affected and stressed, children can pick up on it.
But then I quite like M and H.

They need to work harder as parents, then. You have to learn to self manage and protect children. Then again, they've shared so much which has negatively impacted others, it's a bit hypocritical of Harry.

RandyRedHumpback · 16/05/2025 22:42

Exactly. Most parents who lay their issues on their children inadvertently do so because they don't have the resources to prevent it. They don't have 16 bathrooms to go and weep in away from over-hearing little ears. They don't have nannies who can take the kids out if they need some space. They don't have a mental health organisation at their beck and call and therapy on tap when they need it. They don't have private jets at their disposal so they can get away from it all and relax. They don't have PR people, an entire PR machine in fact, and tonnes of publications both sides of the Atlantic ready and willing to print their side of the story to set the record straight.

Allthegoodnamesarechosen · 16/05/2025 22:44

Harry should be removed from the line of succession immediately by reason of mental incapacity.

FenellaFeldman · 16/05/2025 22:45

Also , this is the man who wrote Spare. He has absolutely no consideration for the mental health of anyone else.

StartupRepair · 16/05/2025 22:45

So Harry read the article and yelled at Meghan and the kids and it is all the medias fault? How does he think Kate and William coped and protected their older DC from all the truly awful things written during Kate's illness?

TheAutumnCrow · 16/05/2025 22:58

Is he seriously saying to the court that the Sun story wound him up so much that he took it out on his family to the extent it affected the mental health of his wife, his 5 year old son and his 2-3 year old daughter??

And he put that in writing, and it now exists for posterity?

What a silly, silly man.

I reckon his kids mental health will be more affected when they see Harry doing his Dad Dancing! Not cool Harry, not cool! 😎

He’s just so utterly self absorbed . He needs to have something else to think about other than his own hurty. feelings.

BigWillyLittleTodger · 16/05/2025 23:20

I don’t know how Meghan can stand him.

She’s just as bad , in fact worse.
