Harry says his kids mental health was affected by Sun story linking him to P Diddy.

Just what planet is he on? Why on earth would his kids mental health be affected by this?

The kids clearly know nothing about the story or who P Diddy is. If he is saying that his bad mental health has then affected his children….then he needs to stop reading stories about himself! Ffs, what a twat.

Harry claimed that the article and others published by the Sun and the Sun on Sunday had “a hugely negative impact on his mental health and that of his wife and children”.

Prince Harry accused the Sun of printing story linking him to P Diddy out of revenge

Exclusive: court documents reveal Harry claimed front page story and other articles had ‘hugely negative impact on his mental health and that of his wife and children’

If he’s letting them read The Sun then I think there are bigger issues at play 😬

MoominUnderWater · 16/05/2025 18:59

He’s such a tool. Does he really think anyone believes that Lillibet is sat reading the Sun over breakfast at Monticito Manor?

AtIusvue · 16/05/2025 19:01

Well Lilibet can seemingly read the little notes that Meg puts in the lunch boxes everyday, maybe Meg should stop putting hard copies of The Sun in there too!

And if kids of that age know who P Diddy is and what he’s been up to they’ve had a very strange childhood thus far.

Lindy2 · 16/05/2025 19:02

Yes I'm sure Archie and Lilibet have had some quite intense discussions about it while reading The Sun and eating their organic banana waffles...

Is Harry back on the drugs again?

That made me laugh 😂

Leo800 · 16/05/2025 19:02

He really is making himself look ridiculous now. How can anyone take anything he says seriously?

RandyRedHumpback · 16/05/2025 19:04

Well the Sun story was accurate. Sensational headline apart, they set out exactly what was in the PDiddy accuser's filing, and clarified that Harry had not been accused of doing anything wrong in the court papers.

If Harry is exposing his children to any of this - what were they then, 5 and 3 - then that's absolutely shocking. It's his job to protect them from parental worries, not pile it on them too. Seriously, can he sink any lower?

Mumofteenandtween · 16/05/2025 19:06

It is rarely a good idea to complain about what the papers say if you would prefer it if people don’t know.

I don’t read the Sun so until 5 minutes ago had no idea about this. But now I do!

BlueEyedBogWitch · 16/05/2025 19:07

Maybe the fact that their mum and dad were upset would have upset the little ones?

I do think parents should keep this sort of thing away from little kids, though.

VaddaABeetch · 16/05/2025 19:09

arent his children 2.5 & 6? Has Harry even met children that age? They’re interested in playing & running around not ODidfy. He’s really trying it on with ‘mental’ health & needs to learn resilience

They shouldn't be exposed to their parent's upset. It's really not on. Pull yourself together and have a moan when they've gone to bed/out with the nanny/school. Caterwauling in front of them - completely unnecessary from a middle aged man and woman who are not exactly un-used to making controversial headlines practically every day.

CatHairEveryWhereNow · 16/05/2025 19:13

Maybe someone said something to older one at school - though you'd go to the school first I think not the papers and not sure how many read The Sun out in their California suburb.

Fastingandhungry · 16/05/2025 19:14

He is saying his mental health is impacting his wife and children, not they are reading the articles.. not a fan but you can see how people make up their own versions.

RedRosesPinkLilies · 16/05/2025 19:15

It just shows the lack of boundaries - if kids are being drawn into this kind of situation. Very inappropriate
When we had to deal with issues such as death of loved grandparents- we gave it thought. Didn’t just land it on the children - so it didn’t affect their mental health
And there’s absolutely no reason for the children to know this stuff.

They have a nanny to care for them it's easy to keep a lid on it

So much wrong with Harry's claims. 1. Lili's reading is very advanced. Reading The Sun at 3 years old! 2. He says that Mexit happened because of damaging articles in the press. Elsewhere, he maintains that the Royal family pushed them out, implying that they didn't want to go. 3. The Sun is not sold in California. That being the case, is he allowing Zrchie and Lili internet access? Isn't the Internet the place where young people disappear down rabbit holes, (where they are not finding bunnies)?

Harry, say nothing from now on. That'd be best.

Uricon2 · 16/05/2025 19:18

He really doesn't understand the sword he lives by, does he?

Diana, who actually had a much worse and undeserved time with the media than he has was far more savvy, generally.

Harry (and Meghan), stop seeking attention and see how long the interest in you lasts. But you can't, can you?

Fastingandhungry · 16/05/2025 19:14

Which is what I said in my opening post -therefore, he should stop reading articles about himself if he is affecting his kids mental health.

He's just an ever complaining whiny twat. It will never stop. He's one of those people who will never be happy.

AtIusvue · 16/05/2025 19:25

And if Harry had to leave the UK because of the horrible headlines, then he will be leaving the US too presumably?….when the Hollywood Reporter and Vanity Fair both put out articles claiming Meg bullies staff. Or the ex boss calling them fucking grifters.

These were way more damaging than a few British opinion pieces on Megs empath bananas and her not being able to hold Archie properly.

He honestly lives in a disturbed world, not connected to reality at all.

Well that sounds unlikely to me. If someone (another 5 year old?) did say something, it will most probably be because their parents read about it in one of the numerous US publications covering the case rather than the Sun, and decided they'd tell their 5 year old about it. And then Archie, being so advanced, was able to unpick from another 5 year old that his father had been named in a massive sex abuse scandal. And then told Lili, also very advanced at the age of 2, and able to understand every word.

GeorgianaM · 16/05/2025 19:39

Perhaps Megan emailed the kids a link to The Sun website as part of her daily emails to her own children!

Not2identifying · 16/05/2025 19:44

Harry is just confirming that it's not all sunshine and rose gardens at home in Moncecito (sp?). What's his wife's brand again?

Edited

I don't think he ever came off them tbh.
