@HonoriaBulstrode

As a former serving officer, is Harry still subject to military discipline?

That's not usually the case (well I hope not) but he will.be subject to the Official Secrets Act

TBH we're now at the stage where the only thing that might penetrate his skull is a stiff talking to delivered by something along the lines of a Senior NCO.....

I don’t think Meghan has accepted anything. I think they divided their responsibilities, she would focus on building their brand and his job was to secure (or in their eyes restore) IPP status for the whole family. This would have enabled them to push their brand aggressively on a global stage, opening up a much more lucrative market.

Both have failed spectacularly but it will be Harry who is panicking, because she has made him responsible for something he could never hope to achieve.

I agree with you that Meghan is the puppetmaster. Harry has told us himself (Oprah) that he assured Meghan his family would always protect him. While I can see all the signs that Meghan is a thoroughly dreadful person, she has to be commended for being prepared to work and forge on regardless. He could be in tricky territory 8f he fails to deliver on security (which he will).

CleaningSilverCandlesticks · 03/05/2025 15:00

Meghan knows how to work. Harry doesn’t. Even the work he did do in the army or as a working royal didn’t require any decision from him.

jeffgoldblum · 03/05/2025 15:00

Honestly this all points to one thing for me!!
this is all on Harry , Meghan I find entertaining and faintly ridiculous.
harry on the other hand, stupid, spiteful and disgusting.

Zippedydodah · 03/05/2025 13:02

And now he’s asking the Home Secretary for an urgent review of security for the royal family.
WTF does he think he is?

Bit like when he said HMTQ needed people like him around her who she could trust! As he spoke to the press yet again invading his families privacy. He really beggars belief.
I'm sure he has convinced himself it's true but even his wife must cringe at the fool he is making of himself.

Profhilodisaster · 03/05/2025 15:05

He is spiteful, there are other ways of saying he would like to see his father without mentioning how long he may have left to live. I'm sure KC is very aware of his situation, he doesn't need his whiney son to remind him.

jeffgoldblum · 03/05/2025 15:06

Shameless the pair of them!!
If they had any self reflection at all we would not have seen half these ridiculous cock ups!

Profhilodisaster · 03/05/2025 15:08

I imagine Meghan wafting about in Montecito totally oblivious to the damage he is doing, not only to his reputation but to the whole RF.

NewAgeNewMe · 03/05/2025 15:25

Maybe she doesn’t care, maybe she tried to talk him out of it. It’s all very odd. Could have been so different but such is life.

What a horrible thing for him to say. Again, looking at something from his perspective only.

Oh wait he has forgiven his father, brother and step mother 😳🙄 blub blub this shouldn't be in the public . It's about family . Why has he changed his tune now?

I saw some clips on BBC news, I actually cringed when he mentions his step mum who he forgives 😬 not Camilla not the queen but his step mum!
Really don't go there, that was the line crossed for your dad last time you were rude about her.
He has forgotten she controls access to Charles, she is keeping the stress of her step sons bs away from her husband. I hope that other than the obvious annoyance they get a bit of a giggle out of some of it, just when you think harry can't fuck shit up anymore, he does exactly that.
An yeah shame he didn't keep all his whining within the family eh!

binkie163 · 03/05/2025 13:49

His arrogance is staggering. He is trying to bully and blackmail his way back into the fold (money) it is inconceivable to him his family and the UK are not on bended knee.

Well, to be fair, it’s not as though Charles hasn’t cocked up massively in his lifetime.

A bit of forgiveness from both sides would be welcome.

Harry’s behaviour and outrageous lies and comments are without comparison with any other royal in recent history!!!
only the windsors come close!
at no point has another royal ever acused his own family of killing his mother and wanting himself and family killed .

you have to go back to the times of Elizabeth the first or earlier!
and thankgod for Harry that times and powers granted to the monarchy have changed because otherwise he would find himself headless or in the tower for half of his actions and words.

Did Charles write a book slagging off Harry and Meghan, invading their privacy and saying they shouldn't have got married? Did he lie about what they did and how they behaved? Did he do a round of chat shows, Netflix, magazine interviews from which he made $millions?
Not comparable.

He has taken a leaf out of Meghan’s book . Never give any family member their title . But woe betide anyone who forgets to to call him and Meghan by their titles !

He says they're still angry "because I wrote a book". I'm assuming he remembers what he put into that book?

Well, quite, he spoke so blithely as though he’d penned a book on ‘Court Music in the 17th Century Royal Houses of Europe’ or something.

In reality he wrote an extended poison pen memoir about his family.

😂😂so true!
I'm wondering if he actually remembers what was in the book.

In fairness he hasn't actually said the RF killed his mother, @jeffgoldblum - at least not yet. He's said she was "basically murdered" but not by who, and I don't even want to think what would happen if he accuses them directly

It's true about them allegedly putting him in danger deliberately though ...

PoppysAunt · 03/05/2025 17:46

"basically murdered"
Dear lord, Harry - get some help. Or read the inquest findings. Or both.

True @Puzzledandpissedoff, but as usual we can all read between the lines just as we did with the mealy mouthed shite on the Oprah show!!
just vague enough to allow him to wiggle out of it , if he receives any push back! 🙄😡

MrsLeonFarrell · 03/05/2025 18:05

There is an article by Roya Nikkah in The Times about Charles, I think. Can someone share token i?

Army officers, if they are any good at all, do have to make decisions, all the time. It's part of what they are trained to do at Sandhurst.

He seems to have forgotten his training, at least in part.
