As I said before @Baital, Harry is in dire need of a good spanking!!!

😂 I can't approve of physical punishment, Jeff....

But am all in favour of natural consequences. Treat your family like shit? Then they will probably stop talking to you.

Want to reconcile? Apologise privately and show them you can be trusted.

The opposite of Harry's interview.

I love the way he continues to accuse his family of all manner of wrongdoing, then says he's forgiven them, then says his father won't talk to him!

CleaningSilverCandlesticks · 03/05/2025 10:40

Harry’s book presents an implied threat to anyone agreeing to reconcile - don’t upset me or I will publish. Nothing needs to be said, he could even apologise profusely and keep schtum for a few years, but it will always be there poisoning relationships.

PoppysAunt · 03/05/2025 10:41

He says they're still angry "because I wrote a book". I'm assuming he remembers what he put into that book?

CleaningSilverCandlesticks · 03/05/2025 10:42

If I were a family member I would want a very tight NDA before even meeting for a coffee.

Normally I would agree!!
but in this case I’m afraid nothing else will penetrate his thick hide!! 🤣

PoppysAunt · 03/05/2025 10:44

Can you imagine - Charles asks about the children, Harry gives an interview saying that his father suggested that the children were being neglected. He's not a man to trust.

And the sheer hypocrisy of it, from someone who went to court over protecting his privacy, seems to have passed him by.

I would normally agree too but I’d make an exception in this case 😂

But then maybe he’d like it so that might backfire😂😂

noooo! Why did you go there @IAmATorturedPoet??? 🤣🤣

jeffgoldblum · 03/05/2025 11:20

In all seriousness Harry needs to be questioned and face the very people he claims to serve!

he needs to be asked why his millions aren’t enough when some can’t afford to feed their children?

he needs to look in the face of the single mother struggling to raise her children and explain why she should pay for his security in California?

we know this won’t ever happen because part of the reason he wants security is not only to keep the paps away but also to protect him from the unwashed masses he feels are beneath him and only valuable to massage his ego and fund his lifestyle.

MrsLeonFarrell · 03/05/2025 11:46

Rather good summary in The Times leading article.

Yes. I believe in the court documents H mentioned that when he and M travelled by train to Manchester in 2022, they felt unsafe because of their proximity to the public.

They should fear for the rest of the RF doing those walkabouts and shaking hands with people.

BasiliskStare · 03/05/2025 12:18

One thing I wonder , is if H&M are so loved up and supportive of each other , and if H wants reconciliation with his family , & ( his words not the RF's " who knows how long my father has" - which I think was a pretty nasty thing to say on national TV ) - wouldn't M say to him - you will get appropriate security , so let's book in a trip over the summer to see Grandpa. It will be fine.

  1. I think she knows it would be fine - quick low key visit - LHR to Windsor Castle - booked in - children can see Grandpa - no-one would even know before they were back in California.
  2. She will take this as an excuse not to go - which may be a bit shortsighted - their titles are looking more irrelevant by the day - this would at least get her "back in the fold "
  3. She believes Harry's nonsense - or just wants to believe the princess in the tower thing more.

Yes - William and George at the football, William surrounded by people in the street in London recently, the King stopping to chat to people he meets when out walking. Why does Harry think he's more at risk than they are, when they have a public role and he doesn't?

User14March · 03/05/2025 12:54

Have listened to interview in full. At times he repeats himself at some length almost verbatim? He’s spent a long time learning almost a script at times I felt. He’s very articulate & measured IMO.

Is it correct to say he can only return en famille etc at Royal invitation, regardless of notice or event & have full security?

The dark forces apparently influencing decision - all very reminiscent of his mother’s famous interview?

He talks about readiness to forgive but there’s no hint at any culpability on his part. Interesting.
