Harry knows the names ooooohhh!!!!

Does he not have a point if others are afforded protection for life who effectively don’t merit it?

What do you mean 'don't merit' security?

Do you think the government just hand out highly trained, in demand specialist protection officers on a whim?

Harry says that we’d be surprised if we knew who got ‘it’ who in his opinion don’t really warrant. Is there any truth at all here if we take him at word? Why he suggests all needs an overview/review.

notimagain · 03/05/2025 13:39

@LipglossAlly

In my opinion, Harry should accept this defeat and crack on with his beautiful life.

He could crack on by actually getting a job that keeps him fully occupied, both physically and mentally...

Just watched the full interview. He looks to the right a lot which is indicative that he’s not being entirely truthful. He is speaking his truth not necessarily the actual truth or facts. It’s another tantrum from the man baby.

Interesting that the BBC got the scoop…..

Giving the interview to the BBC is probably a dig at William, who has condemned publicly Martin Bashir's deceptive behaviour towards Diana. Just another example of his idiocy.

The 1pm news on BBC R4 has wheeled out a former Royal protection officer who agrees with Harry's establishment stitch-up theory. Celebratory crêpes are being tossed in Montecito 🥳

He fluffed his lines at one point and had to say them again.

I thought it was a glitch or AI! Feels very off.

AskingQuestionsAllTheTime · 03/05/2025 13:41

Harry seems to be fairly ignorant about the rôle played by the monarch and the royal family generally in the constitution of the country, and he was part of that family himself. We can't really expect people from another country who know nothing about it at all to get it right if he can't, I feel.

And he can't. Or if he could, he has chosen not to.

cheezncrackers · 03/05/2025 13:42

the statement about “other governments seeing fit to provide” security seems very strange if he’s not getting anything in the country he’s actually chosen to live in

I wondered if this was a reference to the security that was presumably provided to him for their faux royal tours of Nigeria and Colombia? They'd never have agreed to go to either of those countries if top notch security wasn't included.

themightysossidge · 03/05/2025 13:42

I read a piece once about how Meghan operates when talking which was enlightening. They were saying she has stock phrases which she links together to try to make sense. She goes off piste at times and you see her looking up, blinking or moving her hair while her mind finds its way back to the next stock phrase and off she goes again. I reckon they have tried to train Harry in this way too and it shows. I don't know whether I'm pissed off with the BBC with indulging him or is it better to have them do it? The jury's out in my mind on that currently.

That's typical Harry, lots of threats and hints that he knows "something' but of course he can't say exactly what because.."security".

He's BSing.

He’s spent a long time learning almost a script at times I felt. He’s very articulate & measured IMO.

Accusing his family of conspiring with the state authorities to prevent him and his children having access to security in any country in the world is 'measured' in your view?

Well no, but in other places surprisingly articulate at least but now seemingly a script.

The Behavioral Panel will be all over this - can't wait!

If someone got high level protection who I would not expect to get it, I would put that down to there having been an assessment of risk that showed it was needed. I would not expect to be given the detail of what that risk entailed or why they attracted that risk.

Because it suits Harry’s agenda, he can conveniently forget about how his mother was treated. A bit like the CBS interview.

I think there’s also trouble in paradise between him and Tom Bradby, his usual cheerleader at ITV. Who by all accounts has distanced himself from Harry of late.

I know Liz Jones is batshit but her article is bollocks and she needs to STFU as well.

PoppysAunt · 03/05/2025 09:02

You're right, @elessar . He only has to look at Anne and Edward - no security unless they're doing official duties. He obviously thinks he's more important than them, though.

Neither of them served in a combat role in the military, which seems to be a major reason why Harry is claiming that he is entitled to the highest level of security protection. He didn't have to talk about how killing members of the Taliban was 'like taking out figures on a chessboard' in his memoir though, a move that struck me at the time as utter stupidity. It was suggested at the time that perhaps that was another of Harry's misguided attempts to force the RF to demand that RAVEC provide him with the taxpayer funded security he so dearly wants, but if so, god how stupid do you have to be?

They always look at H&M interviews. I think the other 3 enjoy the tortured look on Chase's face when he has to watch them!😂

He knows nothing!!
he has never been at a level that would have this information!
and he’s misleading people into thinking that this highly sensitive information that no one but the highest government officials in the land would be privy to would be revealed in court!
It would be against the law and a serious breach of security for it to be revealed to him , the court or anyone.
and if he doesn’t stop he will not only find himself in contempt of court but also facing serious charges.

Ohyure · 03/05/2025 13:48

JADS · 03/05/2025 09:38

I actually laughed out loud when I read him describ RAVEC as "secretive" like it was a bad thing. Surely if you are a committee dealing with high profile people, secretive is imperative. Given Harry's loose lips, sharing this knowledge with him would be an extremely foolish thing to do.

Edited

He’s just a grade A moron really, isn’t he? So childish, but in a man’s body.

I love the way he continues to accuse his family of all manner of wrongdoing, then says he's forgiven them, then says his father won't talk to him!

His arrogance is staggering. He is trying to bully and blackmail his way back into the fold (money) it is inconceivable to him his family and the UK are not on bended knee.

Interesting. There’s also a method re: public speaking where you learn a script & memorise it completely like lines in a play. You need to be ‘Happy Birthday’ , whilst chopping carrots fluent, in order to pull off. Know it like your own name flawlessly in other words. It’s not advised as very hard to pull off especially if anyone interjects & you are forced off piste & sunk.

A hybrid is poss M’s way ? & maybe where rep of word salad comes from?

How come they were fine coming to the U.K. before the Queen died but suddenly it is dangerous now his dad is on the throne. What changed?

Or it is that he’s a bit an afraid of his family now that he’s aired everyone’s dirty laundry and he trying to force them into giving him what he wants.

It’s Anne - she’s gunning for him.

Ohyure · 03/05/2025 13:52

TheSecondMrsCampbellBlack · 03/05/2025 13:46

I know Liz Jones is batshit but her article is bollocks and she needs to STFU as well.

She was pretty readable at one time. But totally lost the plot in the last few years. Her more recent narrated “dating” and “sex” ventures in the DM are so squeamishly awful and tasteless I don’t read her anymore. Her articles about the RF are bonkers too.

cheezncrackers · 03/05/2025 13:53

I thought at times during the interview he was reciting lines. There were two points where it looked really obvious too. One was where NT asked him three questions in one and he asked her to ask them one at a time and other was when he gave an answer, but then realised he'd said it wrong and then went back and rephrased it. It really did look on both occasions as if he was wanting to spout his rehearsed answers in exactly the phrasing he'd learned off by heart.
