I have certainly seem bullying and personal attacked toward posters who have differing opinions. In fact someone made a personal attack against me in this thread which mumsnet subsequently deleted. It should not be tolerated and people should certainly not be named!

The thing is, Andrew pops up in the news, someone starts a thread and everyone agrees he is an arrogant piece of shit who has got involved in some extremely unsavoury stuff. Nothing more to say really 🤷‍♀️. The Sussexes, on the other hand, pop
up in the news on some faux royal tour or flogging jam etc and people comment from both sides of the the argument. So this is bound to create more discussion about them. It is also bound to create more discussion when, as is the case with the Sentebale story, the Sussexes are seen to tacitly agree with accusations of racism against a woman of colour. Whatever the rights and wrong of what has happened with the chair and trustees, for a “friend” of Harry’s to go on record, with the support of the Sussexes, and accuse Sophie Chandauka of “not being the most important WOC” at the Sentebale polo presentation beggars belief. Yet posters have defended it as “just bantz”. This is why there is a lot of discussion about the Sussexes as opposed to Andrew. Because there is actually something to discuss

I agree with others that say the RF have played a blinder using H & M to distract from any scrutiny on not only Andrew but on the institution that is the Royal family. This country is about to see some of the worst cuts against our most vulnerable yet we are headed up by a family who are billionaires and still largely funded by the tax payer. I am not saying sell or seize assets, the last thing we need is for more UK assets to go to super rich foreigners but the income could be used to invest in fixing UK infrastructure and/or buying back water utility companies? The Royal Family could literally be our Sovereign fund! Their lives wouldn't change but our lives would certainly be better.

So your saying that all the behaviour from Harry and Meghan, the lies , the bullying and Harry’s outrageous behaviour with sentable was in fact a pre planned ploy from the royal family to distract attention away from the already disgraced and loathsome Andrew?

I think the thing I find most frustrating about the H&M/K&W threads is that it’s impossible to say anything remotely negative or positive about one couple without automatically being put in the other couple’s camp. It’s really very tedious.

From what I can gather from the Meghan Derangement Syndrome sufferers on here, it's OK to ignore Andrew's alleged crimes and make thread after thread after thread of complaints about H&M online because some OTHER people online have written nasty things about a woman that H&M are currently in a dispute with, related to charity governance, a matter currently under investigation by the Charities Commission.

I mean, when the criticism is this tenuous you do have to wonder if there's an ulterior motive behind it all.

So it seems this thread wasn’t set up to criticise Andrew but in fact is another thread to absolve h and m of all their behaviour , pin the blame on the royal family and label all posters who criticise h and m as great big meanies who attack others .
