They royal machine played it well. Look over there. They have been in this game forever. Many people are stupid. It's how they have survived so long.

I don't think he took on the press in the same way, so the press hasn't whipped the public into a frenzy about him.

Most threads about him would be everyone in absolute agreement. There's been numerous threads about him in the past when it was all coming out but there's no new news

H&M however are the gift that just keep giving. They're just a car crash & every time they do or say something else controversial or ridiculous it's a new discussion.

Newly married couple try to take down 1,000 year old institution which represents numerous countries by accusing it of racism and mental cruelty, while cashing in on the fame it gave them.

Is it really any wonder one of these scenarios gives us more to talk about than the other?

And, in the scenarios above, one tries to or is forced to keep a low profile and the other lives and breathes drama.

It's controversy that drives threads, this time last year the board was peak where's Kate, Mother's Day photoshop scandal. Even those who think that Andrew should be discussed haven't actually said anything about Andrew to discuss other than don't talk about Meghan talk about Andrew.

The thing is: what is there to say about Andrew?

Everyone already agrees about it. There's no news about it, no fresh information, nothing he's currently doing. Basically there's no oxygen supply to keep the discussion going.

Whereas Harry and Meghan just keep on doing stuff and generating publicity.

Firstly, most people are of one mind about Andrew, whereas opinion remains divided about Harry and Meghan.

Secondly, Harry and Meghan are still actively putting themselves in the public eye by how they're choosing to make a living and have an impact on the world, so there's a steady stream of things to discuss about them. Andrew is basically retired and shunned by many of his old associates.

Lastly, people can have a moan about publicity-seeking jam or whatever the problem is, for entertainment. The accusations around Andrew and the facts about those with whom he associated are so dark and despicable that it is deeply upsetting, rather than a slightly bitchy topic of conversation.

There’s outrage enough when he tries to muscle his way into public events but Charles seems to be doing a pretty good job of keeping him contained. I wonder whether this weird stuff about Virginia Giuffre will reanimate the debate.

Andrew ,the revolting liar hasn’t played the press and has kept away from public appearances.Whereas H &M poke the bear every day ! That’s the difference…I think .

It's really not though, it starts off that way and then people keep on repeating old stuff again and again. Oh but they didn't really have a private wedding, oh the Oprah interview bla bla. That's why I find it so disturbing, people are so obsessed with her.

That would make sense, except so many of the posts on here end up going over the old stuff about Harry and Meghan and not just the new stuff. It’s mostly just the same old digs about them.

I don't think Andrew needs to make money like H&m do. It's easier to lie low if you never need to make any money.
I agree that's it's weird that Meghan causes such extreme hatred in a certain type of person but Andrew doesn't.

Andrew Lownie’s book is due out soon on Andrew and Sarah, and I hope it exposes it whole damn lot of them in York family.

There have been plenty of threads on here about what a vile piece of shit Andrew is. I imagine the Lownie book will result in another one as there may be something new, or a new angle, to discuss. Till then, what insults are ever going to be enough? Are we to measured against whether we call him a cunt enough times or not??

I did wonder if Harry would ever be minded to share his thoughts on uncle Andrew, but alas not. Others, yes; but not the Yorks.

However there remained for many years (till recently) connections between the Sussexes and York Princess Eugenie, friend of Piers Morgan, which is kind of fascinating when you think about it.
