@MunnygirlSome of the criticism of H&M is legitimate. And some of the criticism of W&K is slagging off. Saying that W&K appear not to do a lot of work and have had 3 holidays in the past 3 months can’t possibly be classed as “slagging off”!

I think it’s because he has all but disappeared from public view, whereas Harry and Meghan are very public. Plus I don’t think anyone really opposes that Andrew is a questionable character to say the least

I’m not saying you are wrong but by the very nature of it is slagging off.

So we can’t comment on the heir to the throne taking yet another holiday, unless we join in the H&M bash.

As far as Invictus, did you watch Heart of Invictus on NF at all? I did. It was very well done, a hard watch but worth it. Gabe and Yulia's stories in particular were so moving.

Of course you can comment! Thankfully we don’t live 100 or so years ago when move said anything. As I’ve said previously the RF are not above criticism

I don't "enjoy" it - how bizarre! - but I can't get worked up about it. Like I don't get the the end of the week and think, "oh heck, if the RF hadn't had my last £ I could get a bag of crisps! I couldn't care less!

I'm not that bothered about how much work they do. The King and Princess Anne are clearly grafters. Edward and Sophie contribute a lot too. W & K could do more - in public; I don't know what they do behind closed doors. They're doing a hell of a lot more then H&M though!!

I imagine what W&K are doing is working hard on their family to make sure the next generation turns out nothing like Harry or Andrew!

You didn't answer my question though. Would we have been paying for security for them if they were at home in England?

Oh dear. This is not what I said at all. You seem to have your own ideas what slagging off and justified comments means and it all hinges on who there said about? If you read my post above I didnt say you were wrong. You can comment all you want too. At the end of the day the RF are answerable to the public and they should be answerable to them

I'm a public employee. I get six weeks of vacation a year, which I have to schedule in weekly increments. I also have to schedule around coworkers. So yes, by the end of May, I will have had three weeks of vacation spread over three months.

I work really hard. I bring home desk work to complete at night and on weekends. I've had days with no lunch. I have to do quite a bit outside of my job description. As I mentioned a few days ago, a coworker seriously suggested we learn how to kickbox. It's psychogically debilitating if you are always on guard in case an EDP snaps and you have to call the cops.

So yes, I have a lot of sympathy for W & C. If I were C, I'd be worrying about my kid's safety especially with the SS running around openly. I suspect they do alot of work behind the scenes, like me.

But as I've also mentioned before, my president really like William. Lets hope William uses his influence for good for both the UK and the US.

I'm not sure 'your president' really liking our heir to the throne is a benefit, given the last few months. 😮. I think William will need his best poker face should that state visit happen 🤔

Thank you , yes I am ok however like all the cancer survivors I have met , there is the ongoing concern that it will return . I don’t know the POW but I would imagine she has the same worry .
I won’t ever forget the Consultant telling me I had cancer - the exact time and date- and telling my adult DC and older DGC was awful . Anyway in the meantime I am enjoying as many holidays as I can fit in !

It was the not too subtle suggestion by another poster that if Catherine was well enough to go on holiday she should be working .
