I am a cancer survivor and manage to go on holiday . I even do some ( slow) hill walking ! Is that OK or should I just sit at home because I have had cancer ?

Been ill blah blah blah ? That's a very insensitive post regarding someone who was gravely ill with cancer. It doesn't say much about you other than it shows your desperation to try to be one up for the Sussexes.

Why do you find it so impossible to believe that people can dislike both? The motorcade is obviously ridiculous. The 3 holidays since Christmas is also ridiculous.

I never said you can’t dislike both sets but it seems to me on a lot of what has been said on this thread the Markle fans see no wrong in either of their behaviour and seem to actively dislike the P &PW.

I don't dislike them. Why can a poster not say that they think a holiday a month is a bit much without it being labelled as 'dislike'.. They are funded to some degree by the taxpayer and every british citizen is quite at liberty to say what they like and what they don't like about how the Institution functions. That's democracy for you 🤣
Charles, who is 76 and who appears to be undergoing ongoing cancer treatment, carries out far more engagements. I just would like to see william and kate step up to the plate more, if only to support Charles.
And this is irrelevant to Harry and Meghan who aren't working members of the royal family. They can plough their own field!

@MunnygirlYou appear to have an uncanny back for reading people’s thoughts! I do find using words like “hate” and “adore” about people we know very little about very strange.

I work in a very wealthy neighborhood in NYC. It is currently spring break due to Passover and Easter. Many local families are out of town. They also went away for Christmas and Winter Recess. I think it's great that they are actually spending time with their children as so many of the ones that I see spend their days by their nannies.

Due to the nature of my job, I get lots of paid vacation compared to the average New Yorker. I feel absolutely no guilt using my own vacation time.

I don' t "adore" H&M. is that the best you have? I also don't hate &W&K. yes I think they are lazy, but I don't hate or dislike them, why would I, they are perfectly nice people. but I do question why they do so little.

I do agree with most of what you have just said apart from the H and M bit. Those two do seem to love a faux royal tour. I wonder if Charles is trying to make the absolute most of his reign whilst he can and his health permits? I think given everything he does seem to be enjoying himself.
