Laugh the other side of your face. You haven't seen "a defender of Andrew" now either. It's not some big 'gotcha'! I'm just using my emotional intelligence to be fair-minded and see the matter from his and his family's POV. Clearly that baffles you, because you don't have the bandwidth to understand that there is more than one side to this story.

As you very well know, I was referring to the Guiffre allegation, no need to be disingenuous.

I haven't kept up on the recent stuff because I have less than zero interest in PA and I would be happy to never hear of or see anything about him ever again. If it emerges that he is guilty of some wrongdoing then I hope he has the book thrown at him. He certainly appears dodgy but I think he's odious and don't want to even think about him.

Clearly he paid her millions because it was a settlement. Settlements are largely done for economic reasons, where the estimated running of the case is likely to be significantly higher than the proposed settlement. I have no idea why people fail to understand this simple context. In PA's case, the RF probably didn't want anything else that might be damaging to get into the public eye. He might have won his case for all we know - I believe I read that he wanted to. I wouldn't go running to read any more than that into it. Organisations settle legal cases all the time for economic reasons. They don't imply guilt nor do they exonerate.

You have no more insight into the sorry saga than I do, or anyone who is not PA/VG does.

I've never been one to "give a dog a bad name and hang it". I prefer something a little more concrete. PA's acknowledged and evidenced friendship with Epstein was appalling and he has been 'punished' for that. The rest, nobody knows.

I've avoided this thread for a few days because I knew how it would go, and it sure hasn't disappointed. A lot of the regular RF posters here seem to be absent from the Sentebale threads and I wonder why that is?

We're also still paying for special police cavalcades if he deigns to visit, have paid a multi million pound, yet to be accounted for (not holding my breath) cost to bring Invictus to our shores and face unknown costs in staging it.
