I think some are getting on their ‘high horse’ over this (pun intended)
I quite like Zara she does her own thing, has had her own success and tends to keep her powder dry. I can’t get too excited if she does a sit down with William Hill to chat horses.

What’s next?

Actually, the thought of Zara being the “Face of ‘Spoons” is quite funny…….

As you know perfectly well, there is a difference between having a pint or two for PR purposes (“ooh, he’s just like us-so down to earth”) and talking to William Hill for money.

Unless Zara was telling people to put their life savings on ‘Republican Joe’ running in the 2.30 at Aintree then I’m not getting the outrage. Sorry.

its funny that posters will come on here and defend PA, pretending that there is no proof. whilst posting on other threads that are pure speculation.

Worth pointing out this is the man who paid her £100k for six gigs a year and that she had her lawyers lie about it until they were presented with evidence.

Fair to say if she can bring in this type of wonga for so little effort she doesn't really need to be sitting down with sharks like William Hill but, well as with the rest - greedy and venal.

I'm reading at the moment Andrew Lownie's biography of The D&DoW .(The Traitor King) It pulls no punches with them but nor does it on where the British Govt and RF tried to suppress some documents between Edward and Nazi sympathisers etc. (eg Marburg Files). Some chapters the footnotes detailing his sources are nearly as long as the text of the chapter ( I might be slightly exaggerating there)
However it gives me confidence that his will be a very very well researched book and (despite the FOI refusals ) he will use whatever is available to him to comment on all parties.

I'm about 2/3rds of the way through.

@NewAgeNewMe I agree, I have just finished it. I am now (I am a voracious reader 😂) starting Lownie's "The Mountbattens" I suspect this will also be well researched and even handed. Had to smile though in the Preface L ( Lownie) mentions that no-one other than Winston Churchill has a longer entry in Who's who" which (L) says reveals his (M's) achievements his values and his pomposity. For context I am just reading the Prologue so too early to tell.

And because of that outright lie, I don't actually believe he cut contact with the Chinese spy Yang.
Why should we believe him? There is categoric proof that he lied in the Maitlis interview. His words "and to this day I never had any contact with him from that day forward."
Apparently that was 'showing leadership' and being 'too honourable'.

Court documents show Andrew's emails and that he was carrying on as normal with Epstein, talking of mutual acquaintances and golf. That went on for about a year.
So he is a liar. And I'm surprised the media don't make more of this.

And I believe he kept contact with Yang. He always carries on doing what he wants until he gets found out.

It's actually hilarious how many people can't comprehend what a 'settlement is!

And to compound that by failing to understand that pointing this out is a fact, not a defence of anyone!!
