Exactly we all do a bit of preaching about the environment and are all hypocrites because we still fly, use cars and so on. It's had to avoid it. Then we have countries who aren't doing enough and continue to be the biggest polluters. So to be honest the whole...omg he is preaching is just abut pointless.

Can't even fill a thread about how our MPs every day claim expenses for their second homes or get free food at work whilst simultaneously deciding to hike up our taxes and now taking money away from vulnerable people.

Do you see Rachel Reeves being criticised for what she does? The policies she inflicts on people hlwhich is actually really having an impact on millions of people...why not? Yet someone qho doesn't live here and is earning her own money is subjected to 7000 comments!

I presume you are using the collective ‘you’ rather than me personally as I have zero interest in anyone’s pregnancy let alone Meghan’s but other people might like to and they can discuss it if they so wish, it’s a free country. However in general things are brought up from a few years ago are far more discussion worthy, Oprah, Spare, bullying accusations etc. etc. and are still relevant to more recent discussions, historians in the future will discuss and write about these things, it’s part of royal history, you can’t put a time limit on what people want to chat about.

Sleazy Mike can go on a reality show and grope a TV crew member with no repercussions too.

As for Andrew there's been plenty of outrage about him and he does attract comment when yet another unsavoury piece of double dealing comes to light but it all seems to go die down quickly and go nowhere much like other unflattering stories about senior royal greed and grift.

Those men in grey perform miracles when it comes to burying or whitewashing adverse press. The Harolds are an object lesson in what happens when you're genuinely outside the fold.

There is no such thing as "the press". There are many different news and media outlets in the UK, owned by different people.
They have different editorial policies.
I think Harry's paranoia about the "British press" (sic) seems to have caught on with some people.
If you've ever read the Independent or the Guardian you would perhaps understand a different approach.
What is interesting to me is how H&M are now feeding to the Daily Mail, through their friend, Bryony Gordon. Such flattering articles.

Funny isn’t it that the ‘force field’ couldn’t control the worldwide media onslaught on Catherine over the Mother’s Day card fiasco and then the where is Kate worldwide hysteria where the narrative was she was dead, William had attacked her etc. etc. and which forced her hand to have to reveal to the world she had cancer, yes absolutely the RF control the press for sure.

Look, Andrew was the subject of two shows in 2024. I watched the one with Rufus Sewell. He came across to me as a complete idiot with bad advisers. Even here in the US, they got a lot of publicity because of Epstein. He's going to spend the rest of his life despised. He also is apparently stuck in Windsor in a crumbling house.
