Thread after thread of pulling apart Harry and Meghan. 0.1% discussing what Andrew did?

What is going on with MN?

I don't care about Zara and Mike Tindall. They have both shown hard work and talent as sports people, and yes, the royal connection has helped them. So? That's life.
They've not written books, made tv shows, given interviews etc complaining about their victimhood and misfortune. They haven't lied about the RF and they haven't gone on quasi royal tours, inspecting troops and hearing the (UK) National Anthem.
They are not trying to get UK taxpayers to pay for top level security and they're not trying to get IPP status.

Course they haven't run down the royal family, they are still under their umbrella aren't they? And undoubtedly reaping the benefits of that. Yes, the royal connection has helped them massively. As it has Sarah, Peter Phillips, Beatrice, Eugenie et al. Harry and Meghan shouldn't have to be different. (Just to add, Sarah has given three Oprah interviews and written two books about her time in the royal family. Oh, and tried to trouser £600K selling access to her ex husband)

So, apart from not being seen ever, meghan and harry have to wear wads of cotton wool in their ears in case someone plays the National Anthem 🤣

Maybe not a faux charity tour but the Tindalls visit Australia’s Gold Coast every year sponsored by the Magic Millions organisation.

I’m not sure that many run of the mill eventers and ex rugby players get such lucrative gigs do they?

And have a look at their partners!

Quelle surprise! One of them is Sky Racing! Well who would have thunk it!

That is completely different from the faux tour of Nigeria and Colombia

Quite significantly different!

It’s interesting with Sarah as she was definitely on the outs with the RF when Philip was alive. I don’t think she ever said anything bad or untruthful about them in the way h and m have done though she certainly did use her connection to RF to make money/pay off debts

TulipTiptoer · 03/04/2025 13:44

Indeed. She's quite shameless, really. I suppose the good thing is that it's Mills and Boon harmless fantasy books, unlike Harry's literary career which is something quite different.

Yes! And that neatly brings us back to Andrew who allegedly first became involved with Epstein when he offered to pay off part of one of Sarah’s debts.

Yes, and Sarah said it was a 'gigantic mistake' to take money from him. Course she did, she was found out!

What is called My Heart for a compass?

PoppysAunt · 03/04/2025 13:55

Everyone on here is critical of Andrew. Every thread on him goes the same way, quite rightly. Most people are critical of Sarah Ferguson, some of the Tindalls. Fine.
What makes Harry and Meghan so special that they can't be criticised?

They can be. Nothing wrong with fair criticism. But it's not, is it?

It's the sheer volume of threads and posts and unpleasantness. The incessant nature of it, hundreds of posts a day. And a lot of it unwarranted. Criticising someone's hair, skin, teeth, feet, clothes, way she talks, voice, mannerisms and so on... sneering, mocking... it's bullying.

PoppysAunt · 03/04/2025 14:06

So they can be criticised, but there's a volume limit?

I am not sure what answer you are expecting from me. I think my post explained what I mean.

If you think the amount of criticism for instance Meghan gets is fair, that's up to you. I don't.

glitterturd · 03/04/2025 14:09

Munnygirl · 03/04/2025 12:44

Honestly people don’t care that they left. it’s what happened afterwards that is discussed.

I agree. In fact now many people think thank god!

This obviously is a cause close to your heart and one that seems to cause you some distress. Perhaps you should put your points to MN and see what they say?

Do you honestly think I am distressed? That is so so funny hahahahaha. Sorry, but really! 😂🤣

Are you distressed that posters don't agree with you? No, I am sure you're not.
Neither am I. Oh dear... that has made my day and given me a right laugh 😂

Does it affect your life people having an opinion about them? If not don’t look or engage with it. You do have a choice here

Does it affect yours? It must do for you to ask me such a question! Sorry I have a differing opinion. My life is not the slightest bit affected since you're asking!

You have choices too!

Samcro · 03/04/2025 14:32

the idea that the 100's of threads ripping H& mainly M apart is just criticism is laughable.
of course they are open to criticism, but that is not what they get. literary every thing they do is ripped apart.
even if they do nothing there are "where is Meghan" threads.

That is quite a strange reaction. Of course it doesn’t affect me but I can still talk about it or have an opinion about it. You seem to me to be heavily invested in people you don’t know. If peoples reactions to them bothers you that much don’t look at it. You are not going to stop people from having an opinion.

PoppysAunt · 03/04/2025 14:34

Plus, I've never seen a "Where is Meghan?" thread - has anyone else?.

It doesn't affect me and I can still talk about it and have an opinion on it too. Just like you. Are you heavily invested in them too? I believe so. I have seen your name a lot on royal threads.

I post on lots of different boards on mumsnet, not just the royal board.

I am not going to stop people having an opinion but I can comment on the sheer volume of criticism of Meghan if I want. That's the nature of differing opinions isn't it?

I am sure we won't see eye to eye on this subject, so I'll leave it there.

Hope the sun is shining for you, it is here! ☀️🌞
