I'm sorry, but what do you mean? The threads are headed up 'As Ever Part 7' for instance. They consist of picking up on everything about her. Her hair, her face, her smile, her teeth, her clothes, her voice, and far far more ... let alone what she's doing with fruit and sprinkles. Posters on there have said they hated every minute but sat through all the episodes.
So I'm sorry... you say 'as you well know'... well I really don't.

I have no idea what the point is of starting a thread and then posters posting thousands of posts about a lifestyle show but then you say it's not about a woman doing a lifestyle show.

What is it about then? Just dislike for Meghan? It seems to me we are at the crux of it. She does a lifestyle show but posters aren't really posting about that (even though they are) because there is a hidden agenda and anything she does will be criticised because she is Meghan. Even if it's innocuous, doesn't hurt anyone, was really quite enjoyable to watch in parts, but she had the audacity to do it in the first place, so she has to have 7000 posts criticising her about it.

Yes, you're right. It's dislike for Meghan. People have their reasons, which they give. She's a very polarising person. I personally dislike Harry far more, and sometimes people agree with me, sometimes not.

I have always thought this, in a way, and now know that the threads on the NF series were just an excuse. I could imagine there would be a bit of criticism here and there for her lifestyle series. But I just found the sheer volume of threads and posts and picking apart of her... when the programme was just her doing something she enjoyed.. just too much. I hate to see such nastiness about a woman's appearance, why just why.

And it reinforces my view that it doesn't matter what she does, she will be dragged down and criticised forever probably. I admire her tenacity for carrying on.

Have you never considered her behaviour ? So many lies , bullying allegations , cutting people off when no longer of use ? I am not absolving Harry by any means - the way he has behaved in despicable .
It’s pretty clear some posters think the dislike of Meghan is due to her being mixed race even though many people ( including me) didn’t realise at first .
I started to go off her at the engagement interview when - to me - she was so fake .
Subsequent behaviour has confirmed my view.,

If Meghan wasn't constantly popping up then there would be nothing to say but instead there is a constant stream of her dancing while stirring some stuff and her eating whatever spread related. She's in the public eye. She has chosen that. She needs the views for sales. It goes with the territory - praise and criticism. In addition background information has now been revealed which seems to back up what many have seen in her public behaviour for several years now.

I wanted to establish whether the 7,000 posts were actually about the thread titles . They weren't.

She did nothing wrong in the series. She didn't mention anything that could be picked up on.

As regards Meghan's appearance a large focus of Meghan's appearances was about how she looked, what she wore etc. There were and probably are websites dedicated to what Meghan wore. There were people on here talking excitedly about buying dupes of things. Meghan fans like to dress like her, copy her. Like any other Hollywood celeb she has tinkered with her face and body cosmetically so again it's out there. It's par for the course. I happened to see this avid fan

She can do what she wants but it's then reasonable to say it will be commented on.

As soon as Harry went public there were lots of articles about them. Like many people I was happy for Harry however at the engagement interview she struck me as fake .

The engagement interview was interesting. I thought Meghan was great, very confident, very articulate and keen to start on royal life. She talked about how she'd been welcomed by the family and all seemed well. I liked the proposal story, in the kitchen when they were roasting a chicken.
Then later - to the dismay of interviewer Mishal Hussain, Meghan claimed that it was "orhestrated reality". The interview was just staged. We then saw Meghan's film of the proposal, which was outside and by candlelight.
Hussain said she believed it was a genuine interview. Why lie like that? I don't understand.

Well that's your opinion and you are entitled to it but obviously everyone doesn't share that. That's life.

Yes, obviously some people do think a harmless lifestyle series warrants such a huge volume of criticism but vive la différence!

I think the whole thing is grim.
Harry has exiled himself outside the royal walls abroad monetizing his identity and Andrew has exiled himself through his behaviour but within the walls. So Andrew retains some protection and the kind of privacy the walls provide.
I am sure that Andrew’s life now, by his own arrogant standards, is extremely chilly psychologically. He cannot be a happy bunny and that is absolutely the least he deserves for his predatory (probably criminal) and moronic behaviour.
As bad is his long history of getting money out of a variety of very questionable people let alone the country wasting money on his time as a trade rep playing golf and flying on jets and being given security at the Uk’s expense. It’s incredible & shameful & far far worse than Harry’s nasty book IMHO.
I do forgive Harry a bit as I think his childhood was not at all healthy and we can see the results. William had a different role and has faced the damage differently. But I also feel for Meghan. I think she had a strange childhood too and she looks like just the freeloader that the establishment finds it easy to hate. I hated all the interviews and self pity.
But the photos of her and her mum and Archie with the late queen and Philip were almost worth it all for me. What a healthy change.
maybe some of the bullying was true but Andrew has been accused of a lifetime of treating staff like sh**. So she maybe isn’t so different to the family after all. I think she is probably as sinned against as sinning reputationally.
there is clearly a profound problem with money in the family.
they can’t seem to manage despite having huge wealth - the cash poor outer members just fall into indignity so quickly.
Liz, Charles and William’s private wealth is mind boggling but I suspect they feel stretched because of the staff costs let alone the heating bills. The wider family have huge houses and not the same cash flow.
Elizabeth would have had an easier life if she had just had the two kids.

See I don’t see anything wrong with the “nibble my nuts pants” - not that I would want to nibble his nuts. At least he has absence of humour . When Harry was running around naked in Vegas I didn’t have a problem with that either.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having an opinion about them. You may not agree as is your right but people can and do share their thoughts on the good, the bad and the ugly as far as h and m are concerned.

We might as well start a new thread about Savile or Polanski or Russell Brand every few weeks. It gets dull in the end.

Whereas H&M provide a pretty steady stream of publicity about themselves and people will want to discuss, whether they admire them or not.
