Silence is complicity, remember!

Speaking of 'silence' where are all those posters who don't care about the royals but just hate bullying, especially when a black woman is involved?

You'd think they'd be all over this thread, yet nearly a week on and it's still crickets.

I wonder why?

Puzzledandpissedoff · 03/04/2025 15:29

But research has convinced me that the photo above is faked with a Harry lookalike

Glad to hear it, @wordler; as just mentioned I was thinking more Photoshop and lookalikes hadn't occurred to me

It doesn't alter Rayner's comments though, and the resulting question about exactly who Harry's choosing to mix with ...

I think they must be imploding from the cognitive dissonance TBH.

Just as well none of them are actually fans of Harry and Meghan, isn't it?

Uricon2 · 03/04/2025 15:37

I think sending Alex Rayner out and have him behave like a malignant and somewhat dimmer Bertie Wooster will be longterm damaging to Harry.

He's had enough to say about how he's moved on and grown up and has learned so much (ad nauseum) but running to your Hooray mate to speak up for you is desperate and shows the opposite. It's utterly pathetic IMO.

CoffeeCantata · 03/04/2025 15:38

IdaGlossop · 03/04/2025 15:27

It seems to me that SC is a very brave women. Her actions have cut through so much of the b*llshit around Harry. It all feels very precarious for a man who has badly lost his way.

100% - and I really hope she can recover from the attacks of the last few days.

Harry (and Meghan) are just awful, awful, awful. I'm in a constant state of bafflement that anyone will give them the time of day any more - and also that they dare to even appear in public after all the bad publicity, particularly with the many allegations of bullying around the world. They are utterly shameless.

And why do I care? Because they've damaged and hurt to many people, both through their own spiteful actions and through their attack-dogs in the Sussex Squad.

MaturingCheeseball · 03/04/2025 15:38

I expect Alex Rayner is about the one old chum Harry has left, the type who everyone else has moved on from, so he’ll still do Harry’s bidding in order to be mates with someone.

Profhilodisaster · 03/04/2025 15:40

Does anyone know who Alex Rayner works for?

I totally agree. I think that 'statement' will haunt Harry and Meghan for a long time. It's a PR disaster because it lays out explicitly just how stupid, small-minded, arrogant, snobbish, sexist, racist etc etc they both are. I agree with pps who detect Meghan's input too.

It's the old story about the difference between being thought a fool and opening your mouth and proving it!

Puzzledandpissedoff · 03/04/2025 15:41

Why didn't Harry issue a dignified 'recollections may vary' type statement and leave it at that?

Perhaps because "dignity" and "Harry" don't quite work together @IcedPurple?

With all the talk of unsuitable friends I'm reminded of the account of Meghan objecting to the views of a number of them at some shooting weekend, and if it's true wondering what the hell she was doing marrying someone who chose to mix with people like this

Unless of course she allowed the perceived advantages to outweight her claimed principles ...

MummyJ12 · 03/04/2025 15:46

I am shocked that people are still making excuses for and defending Harry. Posters on here blindly supporting Harry, taken in by his lies. What happened to, when a person of colour tells you that they have experienced racism, believe them? For some, it’s obviously only when this is in H&M’s favour. Disgraceful and concerning.
The script of “oh! but you want to know the list of things SC has done?!”
Where’s the proof?!
Some people need to have a word with themselves and ask, why would SC refer the charity to the CC if she had something to hide?! Why would the CC be opening a case if there wasn’t sufficient evidence to do so? It’s Harry and his old boys club who have done a midnight flit that look the dodgy ones to me. Especially Harry hiding behind his mates who he’s obviously using as puppets while he allows and is more than likely encouraging, the bullying of SC to continue. Everything I’m seeing is proving that, what she’s telling us is true.
I am glad that someone finally has the courage and conviction to stand up against the hypocritical, entitled bully that Harry obviously is. If you can’t see it then more fool you.

IdaGlossop · 03/04/2025 12:50

@GiveMeSpanakopita I agree with @TheSecondMrsCampbellBlack a great post. As one of the PR women on this thread, I would add:

Fail to take a step back from your proposed action before implementing it to ask the question: What will this look like and will it communicate any negative messages?

What it looks like is 'We posh boys stick together'. What negative messages does this communicate? 'We're used to things going our way because it's our birthright to decide how things should be done and I'd We don't get what we want, it's unfair.'

The photo of Alex Rayner doesn't help - very pale, a bit chubby. You can hear him braying as you read the article.

Yep. That re-surfaced photo of a topless Harry sucking the nipple of a topless Rayner whilst both appear to be, to use the tabloid code, 'in high spirits', rather added to the image of the posh boys club.

In one fell swoop, Rayner has demonstrated exactly what Chandauka found so concerning about the way the charity under Harry and his mates was run. Well done, Alex old chap!!

It's kind of reminiscent of H&M's stance on social media.

Evil when it's being used to criticise them; absolutely fine when it's being used to buy Meghan's jam and generally tell her how spiffing she is.

MummyJ12 · 03/04/2025 15:52

Absolutely @GiveMeSpanakopita.
Likewise the DM, who Harry has huge issues with and litigating against. That is, until he has a message to pass on to as many people as possible to try and maximise the damage and discredit the one person who is finally standing up to him.

GiveMeSpanakopita · 03/04/2025 15:54

IcedPurple · 03/04/2025 15:19

I too was completely gobsmacked by the 'friend'.

His rant, which we know must have been approved by Harry, was so atrocious that it's rendered what actually went on at Sentebale almost irrelevant. For all I know there may very well have been fault on all sides, which if true will come out in due course. Why didn't Harry issue a dignified 'recollections may vary' type statement and leave it at that? What does he think he's going to gain from having his 'friend' launch a racist, sexist attack on an accomplished black woman?

I agree with other posters that this is extremely damaging for what's left of Harry as a 'philanthropist'. What charity would want to get involved with him now?

I don't think Harry approved or even knew what Rayner was going to say, fwiw.

I reckon Boshoff contacted Rayner and asked if he had anything to say about the debacle; Rayner contacted Harry and asked if it was OK if he spoke to the Mail on Harry's behalf. Harry, doubtless keen to have some positive media to counteract the criticism he's been getting, would have replied with a resounding Yes and also probably relayed his (or M's?) view that this all stemmed from SC's jealousy of the wonderful Meg.

Given that Harry has previously claimed on record that William, Kate, Charles and Camilla are ALL feverishly jealous of Meghan, this erroneous belief does sound as though it would have originated with H&M.

But I doubt Harry thought for a moment that imbecile Rayner would get on the phone and say all of that on the record, and with such a strong overtone of misogyny and racism.

If he DID, then he's stupider than I thought. And I already thought he was pretty fucking stupid.

I'm not sure. Harry and Meghan are obsessed by their image in the media.

Would he really allow a 'friend' to talk to the media, and in particular to a paper he has sued, without knowing exactly what would be said? Think of Spare. Harry was happy for the world to know that his wife had a 'run in' with Kate over lip gloss, and that he envied his brother an extra sausage at breakfast time. The idea that every woman is motivated by jealousy of his wife probably sounds sensible and logical to him. I really do think he and Meghan live in their own little world, completely detached from reality.

I was so baffled when I saw the title of that thread and thought "oh god. What's Andrew done now"... Nothing new as it turns out but funny how a new thread about him wasn't warranted until H the hero gets accused of racism and misogyny.

The posters who come across threads about H&M and who never care about them personally but are appalled by all the "bullying" of a woman etc etc, often happen innocently upon said threads when cooking the evening meal.
I think it's the warmer weather: they're having salads and cooking less.
