Just looking at the photos of Harry in Lesotho . Don’t know when I last saw him looking so relaxed and happy .
Nice to see.

Agree.

His teeth are aging him though. But, have to admit respect for going natural while living in California….land of the fake white smile.

EdithWeston · 03/10/2024 08:24

Anything about African Parks?

Not that I have read ….

William also the same, they don't need veneers, just a whitening every now and then.

The whole trip is so far removed from anything they have done in the past few years, which clearly indicates how they now realise how much of a failure their previous trips were,, wonder what their supporters think now Harry has gone back to basics.

That being said though, still nothing authentic coming out of his mouth.

theemptinessmachine · 03/10/2024 09:29

Poor Harry - he has been designated as yet another "spare" 😂

Lockupyourbiscuits · 03/10/2024 10:37

He’s all smiles because “I love attention “

Whenever he’s not the big I am front stage he glowers

Must be really tiresome to have to jolly him along the rest of the time

Glooop · 03/10/2024 12:04

It's all part of their plan to move closer to half in, half out.

He seems to be taking advice that MM and/or their joint faux royal tours diminishes their overall brand value and hence potential commercial collaborations.

They also need PH's association with the BRF to give their commercial activities any clout. Thats all they have to offer - its very clear now that they dont bring anything else - eg no evidence of talent, insight, popularity etc.

Their UK PR guru has likely counselled them that the fake joint royal tours are seen as antagonistic to the BRF - and if they ever want their association/reconciliation in the future then they need to behave appropriately.

Very possibly yes, @Glooop, but a "Better leave Meghan at home" stunt - if that's what it is - hardly makes up for years of spite and lies, and I'd expect anyone with sense and an instinct for self preservation to look at the bigger picture rather than focus just on what he's doing now

MrsLeonFarrell · 03/10/2024 12:44

Interesting to read that Sentebele is widening their initial focus, it's good when charities stay relevant. He has done a lot of good through this charity and he looks relaxed out there.

Maybe now Hollywood isn't working out they will think about moving to somewhere in Africa. I think he'd find great scope for his charity work and would feel more at home away from western tabloids.

They are never moving to Africa. 😂

Probably not but I think Harry would be happier there. Not sure about Megan though.

100% agree.

This would take years and years of behaving appropriately (not sure either of them can deliver on that) - and as others have said would likely only partially work on KC3 - PW will probably have none of it.

Thedom · 03/10/2024 12:51

While the media seem to be treating Harry in Africa, going it alone, as a positive, the public comments are still overwhelmingly negative, only positive comments seem to be around Meghan’s absence.

I simply cannot imagine Meghan in Africa . Ever. She couldn’t hack a fully organised, supported Royal Tour , there is no way she would live there .

But how does his charity work alone create a revenue stream to keep his family in the lifestyle that they have become accustomed to and afford the 24/7 security they require?

They need to make money - unless they have enough cash already stashed for life?

I think that they were offered an African/Commonwealth role/placement prior to departure and it didnt suit .... most likely as there was zero cash generating options. I dont see MM aspiring to bring up her children in Africa.

Puzzledandpissedoff · 03/10/2024 12:58

Well it would for some of us @Gloop - and as you say I doubt either H or M are capable - but others turn on a sixpence according to whatever today's headline/latest PR stunt is

FWIW I've little admiration for the RF generally, but do admire their capacity for thinking long term, and as long as they're with us it'll probably protect them well

Edited to add I agree there's no way Meghan would ever live in Africa, @Mylovelygreendress - too far from the glitz for a start - but TBF she made a pretty good job of convincing Harry how much she loved it when they visited for their "third date"
Then again Harry could probably be convinced of anything if it suited

Charles may want to reconcile with his son but under no circumstances could I envisage William agreeing to to the half in half out nonsense . After everything Harry said about William and his family ?? No chance.

It will be interesting if PH doesnt get what he wants in the short term from his recent new PR image (ie security and BRF association/reconcilliation) - how long will it be before he gets frustrated and vengeful again and kicks off with Spare 2 etc? Does anyone know when his appeal for security is?

Wasn't she once happy to pee in a bush? Don't tell me she was being disingenuous! I once peed in a designated hole in the wilds of Kenya and, while pulling up my shorts, inadvertently dropped my bum bag (which contained most of our cash) down as well - that's when I knew my fiancé was a keeper 🤭

I think they have enough money to live a very nice life by most people's standards. But their standards are not most people's.

I agree that doing 'charity work' isn't going to pay for designer clothes and private jets. Working royals are given a salary, housing and lots of other perks, but he found freedom from all that. They're nowhere near rich enough to live a Montecito lifestyle indefinitely. They need a steady income stream, and a good one. Very hard to see where that's coming from however.

Regarding security, RAVEC are not going to alter their decision, no matter how many expensive appeals Harry manages to launch. I'd bet good money on that. Harry is 5th in line and chose to live on another continent as a private citizen. RAVEC are not going to put scarce resources on standby for him. He's just not that important, and I think that's what bothers him most of all.

Quite. Plus he is quietly undermining his own claim to have security issues by managing to slip in and out of the UK relatively unnoticed like he did the other day

MissRoseDurward · 03/10/2024 13:15

PR stunts aren't going to win his security case for him. Quite the reverse, I would think. The judge is likely to be (even more) pissed off if he thinks H is trying to use PR to manipulate things.
