The patent office apparently has turned down the trademark of Meghans new jam making business American Riviera Orchard on the grounds that you can't trademark geographical locations. You would have thought somebody would have picked up on this before now.

If we look back at history to Edward and Mrs Simpson - I expect they tried to curry favour and conjure up an off shore court.

It doesnt work - people gravitate to be associated with the power base and dont want to ruffle their feathers.

Only way is if the power base gave their behind the scenes approval (ultimately to meet their own needs) - maybe KC will turn up - or he will insist on something private with his son.

However there will be lackeys who PH is their only association with power and I am sure they will go to gain some 'kudos'.

Diana's two older sisters each have 3 children who are roughly in the same age bracket as W&H - Jane married in 1978 and Sarah in 1980.

Charles' many children are quite a bit younger, I think - his first batch, 3 girls and a boy - are late 20s/early 30s, aren't they, and then he has more from both his 2nd and 3rd marriages.

I don't personally believe the Aunts are playing favourites. They seem to be supporting both.

We've seen what happens to anyone who publicly supported Trump - cancellation. Rich, woke Hollywood stars can't afford to not be outwardly Democrat and liberal. They can do so in the knowledge that whatever policies might hurt the middle class, they will be immune, due to their immense wealth and clever accountants. All these charitable foundations exist to manage the wealth of these people so they don't end up being negatively affected by the policies they persuade the hoi polloi to support.

Just to be clear, I think Trump is an utter nightmare and should never have got anywhere near high office. However, being politically conservative should not lead to being cancelled.

I'm more Bernie Sanders but agree people shouldn't be cancelled for being conservative. In US terms I had the highest respect for eg Senator John McCain, Colin Powell, Condie Rice, lots more. I think Trump needs to be cancelled for his multitude of abysmal actions and words, not least being a convicted criminal. Hopefully the Republicans can eventually find someone who can restore balance in the party, rather than a man utterly unfit for office.
