The patent office apparently has turned down the trademark of Meghans new jam making business American Riviera Orchard on the grounds that you can't trademark geographical locations. You would have thought somebody would have picked up on this before now.

Didn’t she make a reference to Catherine as Katy Keen who is a character in Archie comics ? It might have been in Finding Freedom .

They certainly did, StiffyByngs, and now they regret it. But I would be plunged into misery if they returned in any kind of official capacity. Mercifully I think they really have cooked their goose to the extent that no kind of public role would be allowed since they've shown the world they can't be trusted with anything confidential or sensitive.

They are both monsters of ingratitude and entitlement.

The question of their return to the fold is an interesting one. As somebody who can remember how Camilla was viewed in the 90s, it truly amazes me that she's now accepted as Queen.

I'd argue that if she can turn that around, albeit with enormous patience and arguably great humility as well, it isn't impossible that H&M can turn it around, especially as the general public isn't following this as closely as many of us are.

I personally would not want them to represent the UK (or the Royal Family officially) again. And, actually, I don't think they really want to. I do think they'd like to do things that benefit their brand and image.

But Camilla has never spouted bile about the RF . She has been discreet and worked hard to gain acceptance . She does amazing work for DA victims . I also love her Book Club work .
I honestly cannot see a way back for Harry and I doubt if William would tolerate it . Meghan is shallow and self centred and totally wrong for a Royal role .

I don’t think it’s as simple as Camilla turned it round. More people started to understand the marriage between Charles and Diana, was both arranged and very bad, that Diana had many issues and many lovers herself, that ir wasn’t simply how Diana wanted the world to think it was…and that now, Charles and Camilla have been married decades, very happily . Camilla clearly doesn’t seek the limelight, she just cracks on. And does her job with kindness and dignity, and Charles seems similar.

charles and Diana should never have married, they were engaged after meeting twice, it was simply an arranged marriage to produce the heir and spare, and Diana had a lot of issues. A lot. And they didn’t love each other, the chemistry and love is either there and grows or it doesn’t. And it didn’t here,

she married him for his money and position; he married her for her ability to have babies. Under any other circumstances they’d not have looked at each other. And that marriage was one of the queens biggest mistakes.
