Kensington Palace have released a new photo of William and the children to mark his 42nd birthday. The photo was taken by Catherine.

Honestly I think this is one of my favourite photos of the family!

On a human level, I’m so glad that William has a loving family who support him. His family life is such a contrast to his mother’s, Diana would be so happy for him.

I really hate it, I bet it took ages, many repeated takes, and the children being ordered to look joyous when they were thoroughly fed up. It just screams "forced and fake" to me. The children would probably have rather been playing in the sand
